Craig Young's five-wicket haul was instrumental in gaining Dublin Guardians their first win at the sixth attempt as home comforts paid dividends with the competition switching to Malahide. Belfast could only manage 107 and the modest target was reached in just the 12th over with David Willey and Daryl Mitchell in the runs,

Another loss for Dublin Guardians who languish at the bottom of the table after their fourth straight loss, this time to table toppers Rotterdam Dockers. James Vince hit 6 fours and 5 sixes in a 54-ball unbeaten 95. Sanjay Krishnamurthi and Vijay Shankar both made 26 and at halfway a total of 178-4 looked above par. However, a fine batting effort by Rotterdam saw Faf du Plessis 79, Michael Levitt 35, and Heinrich Klaasen 34 all bat with fluency and were able to find and clear the boundaries with regularity. Dublin's bowling - Ravi Ashwin aside looked fragile. They will be hoping for better fortunes on home soil next week.

Adair to Adair to get this contest underway. It's Mark who will have the sibling bragging rights with the early wicket of Ross. JJ Smuts benefitting from a reprieve after being caught off a no-ball is up and running on 50 off 28 balls (6 fours, 2 sixes). McMullen joining in the fun and the runs keeps flowing. Smuts falls for 98 (60 balls: 11 fours, 3 sixes), second wicket for the impressive Fred Klaasen. Total still going to be a tough chase for Belfast. Paul Stirling hits Tom Curran three consecutive boundaries in the second over. Trent Boult strikes with the wickets of Tim Tector, Lorcan Tucker for his third duck in a row, and Paul Stirling. Belfast in real trouble. Glenn Maxwell and Davud Miller rebuilding. Edinburgh still on top but Belfast have a chance at halfway. Maxwell and Miller gone in quick succession and it seems unless there's a late twist that Edinburgh will close out a comfortable win. Tom Curran (4-20) wraps up the tail with a hat-trick, and that's a chastening loss for Belfast.

After three inspections we will finally got some cricket, if only the minimum 5 overs per side. Wolves opted to bowl with Humphreys' first over going for 10 and Adair's second for 17 - Steve Smith and Yuvraj Samra opening for the Flames. Chris Jordan bowls Smith and only concedes 7 in the third. Klaassen rather than Adair with the fourth and has Tim David caught by Tim Tector in his over that cost 10 runs. Final over from Jordan goes for 12 with the only extra of the innings, a leg-bye coming from the final delivery. Mark Chapman and Paul Stirling start the reply with 7 off David Payne's first over. Two 6s and two 4s in Richard Gleeson's second which costs 24. Chapman chops on Ayran Dutt's first ball of the third, enter the 'Big Show' - 8 off the over. Payne's second opens with a Stirling one-handed 6 over mid-wicket, and he finishes the match with another back over the bowler's head off the fifth delivery.

James Vince with a quick start for the Guardians but Mitch Santner strikes in his first over to remove Daryl Mitchell and then Vince and Ben Calitz in his second. A third lbw for Santner trapping George Dockrell first ball of his third over as scoring slowed to a crawl with only Sanjay Krishnamurthi providing any resistance as wickets tumbled. A fifth wicket for Santner in his final over as Hollard hits a 6 and then holes out to Kiwi compatriot Trent Boult who wraps up the innings with the last ball of his third bowling Josh Little. A Ross Adair blitz against Chris Wood's opening over sets Edinburgh on their way. Four, NB, Six, Four, Four, Six, Out! Gous collects a Golden Duck from Hollard's second delivery and Brandon McMullen is lbw to Dockrell who took over from the battered Chris Wood. Two wickets in his final over for Dockrell claiming both Laurie Evans and Gareth Delany but by then the end was in sight.
