England U19 selection Amelia Oliver steered Yorkshire Academy to the win chasing down Ireland's total with just two balls to spare in the first of today's two T20 games. Ireland's total dominated by an unbeaten half-century from Dundrum's Niamh Lowry. Match 2 scheduled to start at 2.30.

A wicket for Anna Ellerby first ball of the match but Amelia Oliver and Maiya Charlsworth onto the attack straight away adding 46 in the first five overs. Olivia Breese joined Oliver and the runs continued to flow with the pair adding exactly 100 before Oliver was run out in the penultimate over of the innings. Four run-outs in the five wickets to fall with Ireland's only success with the ball coming with that first delivery from Anna Ellerby. Lucy Randle-Bissell rocked Ireland with her opening burst, rattling the stumps three times, that's one better than the two she claimed for the ECB against Emerging Ireland at Loughborough last week. Sophia Byrne gets three wickets in the twelfth over and hers is a Hat-Trick! All over in quick time, a close game in the morning but a much more dominating performance from Yorkshire in the afternoon.

The five match series is now tied at 2 wins apiece. The decider takes place later today.
