Scotland won the Celtic Cup series as Ireland Under-17s’ difficult week continued with a seven-wicket defeat by Scotland after their total of 242 proved insufficient. Sidharth Biju top-scored with 58, while Peter Le Roux made 47, Ayan Ullah 44 and Aadil Naizam 31. Arnav Saraswat claimed four for 26 as Ireland were bowled out from the final delivery. Scotland controlled the chase through Munro Cubbon’s 92 and Marcus O’Kennedy’s 42. Oliver Pillinger then finished unbeaten on 51, with James Stronach adding 14 not out, as the hosts reached their target in the 43rd over. Ardmore's Bobby Brolly took two wickets.
