Scotland edged a dramatic one-wicket victory over the United Arab Emirates, reaching their target with just one ball remaining. UAE had posted 231 for eight from 40 overs, built around an excellent 116 from Adeeb Usmani, while Brandon McMullen took three for 30. Scotland were in deep trouble at two for two, but Richie Berrington made 39 and Michael Jones 44 before Matthew Cross steadied the chase with a crucial 66. Late runs from Mark Watt and Safyaan Sharif kept Scotland alive before Jasper Davidson helped see them over the line in a tense finish.
