After a delayed start, Derriaghy posted 150-7 from their allotted overs. Half-century partnerships provided the backbone of the innings, with Ross Bailey (26) and Matt Scoble (27) adding useful runs for the second wicket before Jonathan Bell top-scored with 34 as he and Craig Lewis (26) then shared another important stand for the fourth wicket. Chris Pyper (2-23) and Brodie Harrison (2-29) were Bangor’s most successful bowlers. Bangor’s chase was built on a solid platform from Sam McMillan, whose 29 included three boundaries. The hosts then took complete control through an unbroken third-wicket partnership of 94 between Harrison and Mark Hutchinson. Harrison continued his remarkable form - 423 runs at 105.60 - with a blistering 64 not out from just 34 balls, striking three fours and five sixes, while Hutchinson finished unbeaten on 41 as Bangor reached 151-2 in 22.5 overs to make it four wins from four and sit proudly at the top of Section One.

Wright finished unbeaten on 47 and Villiers 39 not out, each striking six boundaries, as Armagh completed the win in the 20th over.

Group A: Muckamore v Cliftonville Academy - no result.
Moylena, 30 May.
Muckamore 59-0 (4 overs; J van der Merwe 29*, N Brand 26*)
Cliftonville Academy (Delayed start - match reduced to 10 overs)
Only four overs were possible at Moylena after a delayed start had reduced the game to 10 overs. Jason van der Merwe kept pace with Neil Brand as Muckamore plundered 59 but rain had the final say.
Group B: North Down beat Laurelvale by 7 wickets.
Comber, 30 May.
Laurelvale 89-5 (20 overs; B Khan 23; M Erlank 2-9)
North Down 90-3 (14.5 overs; M Erlank 38*, H Zimmermann 38*; H Subhani 2-21)
North Down beat the rain and Laurelvale to move level with Waringstown at the top of Group B. The Comber side restricted their visitors to just 89 for five in their 20 overs with only No 7 batter Alex Webb managing a strike rate of over 100. North Down eased to victory, although not until they had an early scare when they lost their top three for just 10 runs. But an unbeaten fourth wicket stand of 80 between Michael Erlank (38 off 36) and Harry Zimmerman (38 off 39) saw them home in the 15th over,.
Group A: Lisburn beat CSNI by 15 runs.
Wallace Park, 30 May.
Lisburn 94-5 (7 overs; N Jones 31, J Hinrichsen 24, R Adair 21; H Dyer 3-11)
CSNI 79-3 (7 overs; A Leckey 41, J West 21) (Delayed start - match reduced to 7 overs)
Jon Hinrichsen and Nigel Jones (Dean Simpson)
A delayed start reduced the match at Wallace Park to seven overs per side but there were still 173 runs to be enjoyed by the spectators in an exhibition of big hitting. Ross Adair, of course, got the Lisburn innings off to a fast start with 21 off 10 balls but he was outscored and outpowered by both Nigel Jones 31 off 11 (three sixes) and Jon Hinrichsen who hit 24 off six, all four scoring strokes cleaning the boundary. CSN suffered a body blow in the first over of their reply with professional Ashwin Hebbar dismissed first ball but Adam Leckey with 41 off just 17 balls (four sixes) kept the run spree going until he gave a return catch to Hinrichsen, with 29 needed off the last nine balls. They fell 15 runs short but that was due to Ben Walsh who conceded only three runs in his one over.
Waringstown beat Woodvale by 9 wickets.
The Lawn, 29 May.
Woodvale 91 (19.3 overs; R Pretorius 41; G Hume 3-12, G Thompson 3-20, J Cameron-Dow 2-15)
Waringstown 95-1 (7.5 overs; J McCollum 47*, M Topping 37*)
Waringstown went to the top of Group B with a nine-wicket demolition of Woodvale at the Lawn. Only Ruhan Pretorius (41) reached double figures as the ballygomartin side were bundled out for 91 - three wickets apiece for Graham Hume and skipper Greg Thompson, while left-arm spinner James Cameron-Dow collected two. Steve Solk went cheaply in the chase, but the home side didn't mess about, James McCollum (47*) and Morgan Topping (37*) adding 80 in six overs, peppering the boundary with regularity in the most one-sided of contests.

Lisburn heroes Ross Adair and Neil Whitworth (Dean Simpson)

Brand hit a 19-ball 40 (three fours, four sixes) as the Moylena side racked up 125 for nine in 12 overs. Skipper Neil Whitworth claimed three wickets and Ross Adair two. The same duo were then instrumental in the chase after David Miller went for 13, putting on 52 with Adair. Irish T20 specialist Adair was at his belligerent best, smashing five huge sixes and fours in an unbeaten 78 from just 38 balls, adding an unbroken 77 with Whitworth (38 not out) to clinch the nine-wicket win with three balls to spare.
Group A: Cliftonville Academy beat Instonians by 14 runs.

Cliftonville Academy heroes David O'Sullivan, CP Klijnhans, and Matthew McCord (CA)
Cliftonville Academy pulled off the shock of the night as they beat holders Instonians by 14 runs in the Lagan Valley Steels T20 Cup. South African professional CP Klijnhans set up the win with a stunning barrage of boundaries, clearing the ropes nine times as well as hitting six fours in his 30-ball 86. He received excellent support from Dave O’Sullivan – recovered from injury – who thumped four maximums and three fours in a whirlwind 45 from 24 deliveries. That took CA to an imposing 186 for eight in a game reduced to 15 overs. It didn’t look as if it was going to be enough as Neil Rock and Jack Dickson (37) shared a second wicket stand of 70 to lay a perfect platform for Shane Dadswell. The player of the month so far clubbed four sixes and three fours in an 11-ball 40 to reduce the target to 38 off four overs. His dismissal though proved the turning point as Rock perished two balls later – both to visiting skipper Matthew McCord – who finished with three wickets to clinch a welcome win for his beleaguered side.
Group A: Muckamore lost to CSNI by 6 wickets.
Moylena, 14 May.
Muckamore 165-9 (20 overs; N Brand 74, L Allen 29, J Jackson 24; J Collingwood 3-37, A Leckey 2-32, H Dyer 2-41)

Jake Collingwood (Harry Dyer)
Muckamore posted 165 for 9 at Moylena, but CSNI chased it down in style to win by six wickets with nine balls remaining. South African batter Neil Brand lit up the innings with a blistering 74 from just 25 balls, smashing 13 fours and a six, while Luke Allen (29) and Jamie Jackson (24) added useful support. CSNI replied powerfully through Ashwin Hebbar’s 54 from 34 balls and Jake Collingwood’s rapid 45 - both hitting four fours and sixes - the pair sharing a decisive 90-run stand in only seven overs. Harry Dyer’s unbeaten 32 sealed victory in the penultimate over.
Group A: Instonians beat Lisburn by 23 runs.
Shaw's Bridge, 14 May.
Instonians 217-8 (20 overs; S Dadswell 72, N Rock 52, N Smith 47; R Adair 3-23, J Hinrichsen 2-22)
Lisburn 194 (18.5 overs; N Whitworth 86, D Miller 31, R Adair 28; S Dadswell 3-22 inc. hat-trick, C Robertson 2-20, D Agnew 2-40)
Instonians maintained their strong form with a 23-run win over Lisburn after a thrilling high-scoring contest. Neil Rock struck 53 from 36 balls and Nikolai Smith blasted 47 from just 25 deliveries as the pair shared a rapid 92-run opening stand. Shane Dadswell then stole the show with a brutal 72 from only 26 balls, hammering eight huge sixes to propel Instonians to 217 for 8. Lisburn’s reply began explosively as Ross Adair smashed four sixes and a four in the opening over before falling off the sixth ball. Dadswell then turned match-winner with the ball, claiming a hat-trick as Lisburn collapsed to 48 for 5. Skipper Neil Whitworth fought back superbly with 86 from 48 balls (7 fours, 6 sixes) alongside David Miller’s 31 in a sixth wicket stand of 98, but Lisburn were eventually bowled out for 194.

Ludwig Kaestner provided early momentum with a rapid 31 from 17 deliveries. Babar Khan and Muhammad Ajmal claimed two wickets apiece. Mike Erlank scored unbeaten 96 for North Down (George Armstrong)
North Down continued their impressive form with an eight-run victory over CI in an entertaining contest at Belmont. Fresh from his Irish Senior Cup heroics, Mike Erlank produced another superb innings, finishing unbeaten on 96 from a dazzling display that included 11 fours and five sixes. Openers Kian Hilton and Harry Zimmermann laid solid foundations with scores of 25 and 22 before Erlank accelerated alongside skipper Tyron Koen, whose unbeaten 28 came in a blistering unbroken stand of 85 from just 38 balls as North Down closed on 185 for 3 - 44 runs coming from the last two overs and this was to be the defining phase of the contest. CI responded bravely despite losing Jake Egan to the first ball of the innings. Charlie Swart counterattacked with a lively 55 featuring four sixes, while skipper John Matchett contributed 41 in a second wicket partnership of 61. However, the chase never quite gathered enough momentum as CI finished on 177 for 7, with 20s from Carson McCullough and Paddy Beverland..
Group A: CSNI lost to Instonians by 10 runs.
Stormont, 7 May.
Instonians 213-6 (20 overs; S Gould 92, C Carmichael 39, S Dadswell 28, A White 21*; J Collingwood 3-33)
CSNI 203-6 (20 overs; A Hebbar 100, J West 31, S Thompson 22; C Robertson 2-30, M Humphreys 2-31)
Sully Gould's prolific start to the season continued as he plundered 7 fours and 8 sixes in a rapid 37-ball 92, adding 118 for the second wicket with Cade Carmichael (33). There were runs too for Shane Dadswell (28), Andy White (21*), and Cian Robertson (18) in an impressive total of 213 for 6 - three wickets for Jake Collingwood. CSNI though weren't fazed by such a total as James West's 16-ball 31 got the chase up and running. Ashwin Hebbar then took up the mantle, keeping pace with the required rate as he hit a 51-ball hundred that included no fewer than 11 sixes. However, he and Jordan Neill fell in quick succession and despite valiant efforts from skipper Stuart Thompson (22) and Harry Dyer (14*) they fell 10 runs adrift on 203 for 6 - two wickets each for Matthew Humphreys and Cian Robertson.
Group B: Waringstown beat Laurelvale by 92 runs (DLS).
The Lawn, 7 May.
Waringstown 209-5 (20 overs; S Stolk 55, J McCollum 45, M Topping 38, G Thompson 21*; H Subhani 3-43)
Laurelvale 65-6 (15 overs; R Allen 2-6, J Cameron-Dow 2-11)
Waringstown won Mid-Ulster bragging rights with a comfortable 92-run DLS win over Laurelvale. The result was never in doubt after Steve Stolk raced out of the traps with a 21-ball 55 (4 fours, 5 sixes) as he and Matthew Halliday (18) had an opening stand of 68 inside the powerplay. James McCollum hit 8 fours in a quality 45, sharing a half century stand with in-form Morgan Topping (38). There were runs too for skipper Greg Thompson (21*) and Ross Allen (12) in a total of 209 for 5 - three wickets for Hameed Subhani. Laurelvale's chase never got any traction as they limped to 65 for 6 in 15 overs before bad light halted play - two wickets for Ross Allen and James Cameron-Dow.
Group A: Lisburn beat Cliftonville Academy by 121 runs (DLS).
Wallace Park, 7 May.
Lisburn 283-6 (20 overs; R Adair 96, B Calitz 82, N Whitworth 40, M Adair 31; H Wylie 2-54, M McCord 2-70)
Cliftonville Academy 106-6 (16 overs; CP Klijnhans 31, A Wylie 22, D Reid 21; M Adair 2-5)
Ross Adair and Ben Calitz
Lisburn's big guns fired at Wallace Park as they blew away Cliftonville Academy under a barrage of boundaries. Ross Adair set the ball rolling with a 38-ball top score of 96 that included 10 fours and seven of the 20 sixes that Lisburn hit. Adair shared an opening stand of 121 in 10 overs with skipper Neil Whitworth (40), but if CA thought his dismissal would bring some relief they were in for a shock. Mark Adair kept the tempo going with a 12-ball 31 (2 fours, 3 sixes), but the fireworks really started with the arrival to the crease of fellow international Ben Calitz. The left-hander hit 82 from just 21 balls - a strike rate approaching 400! Ten of the 21 balls he faced sailed over the ropes and beyond, and for good measure he struck six fours in 32 minutes of mayhem. A final total of 283 for Lisburn is believed to be an NCU Senior record for the competition, and not surprisingly CA didn't come close to shaking it down. CP Klijnhans did offer some fun with a breezy 31 (3 fours, 3 sixes) but thereafter the pace slowed as they limped to 106 for 6 - two wickets for Mark Adair - as bad light brought a premature end to proceedings. The official margin of victory for Lisburn 121 runs on DLS.
Group B: Woodvale lost to CI by 50 runs.
Ballygomartin Road, 8 May.
CI 196-9 (20 overs; C Swart 56, J Matchett 52, S Surish 29, J Egan 28; R Pretorius 2-34, L Kaestner 2-34)
Woodvale 146-7 (20 overs; L Kaestner 67, F Restieaux 27*; S Suresh 3-21, A Armstrong 2-24)
A century stand between skipper John Matchett and Charlie Swart led CI to a 50-run win over Woodvale at Ballygomartin Road. Batting first, opener Jake Egan hit a quickfire 12-ball 28 (2 fours, 3 sixes) to get the CI innings up and running before the duo's match-defining nine-over partnership. Highly rated teenager Swart top-scored with 56 from 33 balls, while Matchett's 52 took two balls more - both clearing the ropes three times as well as hitting five fours. Satish Suresh (29) gave the innings a late boost with three sixes in an entertaining cameo as they finished on 196 for 9 - two wickets each for Ruhan Pretorius and Ludwig Kaestner. The chase never kept up with the required tempo despite the best efforts of Kaestner who hit seven sixes in a 32-ball 67. Suresh (3-21) and Irish youth international Alex Armstrong (2-24) doing the bulk of the damage were restricted to 146 for 7.
