Adamstown booked their place in the Leinster Senior Cup quarter-finals with a convincing 45-run replay victory over Civil Service at Oak Hill. Abdul Khader top-scored with 66, while Dinesh David made 58 and Prashanth Damodaran added 42 in Adamstown’s 224-5. Civil Service started brightly through Edson Silva (45) and Hedayat Ullah Khogiani (42), but regular wickets halted the chase. Shravon Biju claimed 3-23, while Arjan Adelkar took 3-33 as Civil Service were dismissed for 179. Adamstown now travel to face The Hills in the quarter-final.
Round 2: Pembroke beat Phoenix by 10 wickets.

Holders Pembroke continued their bid for a third successive Leinster Senior Cup title with a commanding 10-wicket DLS victory over Phoenix. Reduced to 11 overs, Phoenix struggled to build momentum and closed on 79-9, with Ben White making an unbeaten 31 and Tyrone Kane contributing 21. Pembroke's bowlers shared the wickets, Joe Prendergast, Paul Lawson, Olly Riley and Byron McDonough all claiming two apiece. Pembroke made light work of the revised target, racing to 80 without loss in just 7.4 overs. Tim Tector blasted an unbeaten 55 from 26 balls, striking seven fours and two sixes, while JJ Garth finished 21 not out as Pembroke eased into the next round.

Phoenix’s Leinster Senior Cup clash with holders Pembroke was abandoned due to thunder and lightning at Phoenix Park, with the hosts appearing well placed to secure a quarter-final victory. In a match reduced to 36 overs per side after a delayed start, Pembroke posted 197-9. Tim Tector dominated an opening stand of 55, striking 41 from 37 balls with four fours and three sixes. Danny Hogan anchored the innings with 55 from 72 deliveries, including four fours and three sixes, while Greg Hollins made a run-a-ball 35 and Sanil Gupta added a brisk 27. George Dockrell starred with the ball, taking 3-29, while Ben White and Sean McNicholl claimed two wickets each. Set a revised target of 148 in 23 overs, Phoenix lost Shane Getkate first ball but recovered impressively. Johit Munjal struck 30 from 28 balls, Tyrone Kane made 25 with five fours, and Dockrell blasted an unbeaten 36 from 32 deliveries. Phoenix had reached 104-3 after 16 overs and looked on course for victory before the weather brought proceedings to a premature end.

Rain came to Railway Union’s rescue as their Leinster Senior Cup tie against Leinster was abandoned at Park Avenue, forcing a replay after a rain-interrupted contest reduced to 25 overs per side. Batting first, Railway Union struggled to build momentum against an impressive Leinster bowling attack and closed on 127-9. Abhay Tipnis continued his good recent form with a top score of 38, including three boundaries, while Peter le Roux added 21. Joey Carroll led the wicket-taking with 3-30, while Mark Tonge (2-11), Jai Moondra (2-25) and Saqib Bahadur (2-19) shared the remaining wickets. Leinster looked firmly on course for victory when the weather intervened. Opener Younas Ahmadzai launched a blistering assault, smashing an unbeaten 37 from just 22 balls, featuring five fours and two sixes. His aggressive start helped Leinster race to 43 without loss in five overs, reaching 45-0 early in the sixth over before rain ended play. With no further play possible, Railway Union escaped defeat and will now get a second chance when the sides meet again in the replay.
Round 2: North County beat Clontarf by 8 wickets (DLS).

North County booked their place in the Leinster Senior Cup semi-finals with an emphatic eight-wicket DLS victory over Clontarf at Balrothery after a rain-delayed contest was reduced to 40 overs per side. Former North County player Fionn Hand led the Clontarf effort with a superb 80 from just 53 balls, striking seven fours and four sixes. Seamus Lynch contributed 29 and Eoghan Delany added 21 as the visitors posted 205-9. Lochie Hardy enjoyed an excellent all-round afternoon, claiming 3-38, while Sean Sludds chipped in with 2-56. County's chase got off to a flying start as Hardy and Suliman Safi dominated the bowling. The opening pair added 131 in only 15.2 overs, with Safi blasting 56 from 44 deliveries, including eight fours and a six. Hardy continued the assault, finishing unbeaten on 107 from 86 balls, a knock featuring 12 fours and six sixes. Although Hand claimed a consolation wicket, County never looked troubled. Hardy and captain Eddie Richardson (27 not out) shared an unbroken half-century partnership to steer the hosts to 207-2 in just 27 overs, sealing victory with 13 overs to spare.

Civil Service and Adamstown will have to do it all again after their first round tie at Phoenix Park was also abandoned. In a match reduced to 30 overs per side following a delayed start, Adamstown posted 137-9. Angad Bawa top-scored with 27, while Sidharth Biju made 23. Devender Ranolia led the Civil Service bowling effort with 3-29, supported by Abhishek Kare's 2-18. Civil Service looked firmly on course for victory when the heavens opened. Edson Silva producing a blistering unbeaten 31 from only 16 balls, including three fours and three sixes as they were on 40 for 0. The abandonment will be particularly frustrating for Civil Service, who appeared in complete control. The sides will now meet again at Oak Hill within the next 11 days to decide the quarter-final opponents for The Hills.

Balbriggan booked their place in the next round with a comfortable five-wicket DLS victory over North Kildare at The Maws. After rain reduced the contest to 26 overs per side, North Kildare posted 149 for 7 thanks largely to an excellent unbeaten innings from opener Moize Haider. Haider carried his bat for 65 from 77 balls, striking four fours and four sixes in a composed knock that held the innings together. Ankit Pareek chipped in with 20, but regular wickets prevented the hosts from building real momentum. Balbriggan shared the bowling duties effectively, with Dylan Lues, Seb de Oliveira and Jordan Hollard all taking two wickets apiece. Set a revised target of 157, Balbriggan made light work of the chase. Cameron Rowe gave the innings early impetus with 31 from 30 balls before a decisive third-wicket partnership swung the game firmly their way. Prashan Naidoo blasted 53 from 45 deliveries, including five fours and two sixes, while left-hander Chris de Freitas struck 46 from only 32 balls with seven boundaries and a six. Their stand of 77 in just 51 balls effectively settled the outcome long before the finish line was reached. Balbriggan now progress to face the winners of the Phoenix versus Pembroke tie in the next round.

Clontarf edged a remarkable high-scoring thriller against Malahide by six wickets in a Leinster Senior Cup classic at Castle Avenue. In a rain-reduced 26-over contest, Malahide looked in complete control after piling up 216 for 5. Robbie Foulkes hammered 89 from 69 balls with nine fours and two sixes, sharing a blistering fourth-wicket partnership of 105 in only 56 balls with Head Coach Greg Ford, who smashed an unbeaten 63 from 35 deliveries. John McNally claimed three wickets for the hosts. Clontarf’s chase could hardly have begun worse when Seamus Lynch went first ball, but overseas professional Sam Morgan produced an innings for the ages. Morgan blasted a magnificent 136 from just 82 balls, smashing 11 fours and seven sixes to turn the game on its head. Even after his dismissal there was late drama, but skipper Fionn Hand (39 not out from 21 balls) and Kartik Joshi sealed victory off the penultimate delivery in a match that will live long in the memory.

Railway Union cruised into the next round with an emphatic eight-wicket DLS victory over Dublin University at College Park. The Trinity side produced a disappointing batting display after making a promising start. Openers Macdara Cosgrave and Rory Betley helped their side to 51 for 1 with knocks of 19 and 17 respectively, but the innings quickly unravelled. Don Retty top-scored with a modest 22 as the students were bowled out for 117 in 26 overs. Ashil Prakash starred with the ball, claiming 4 for 13, while Sean O'Brien and Sumit Kumar took two wickets apiece. Railway Union lost Prakash and Bruce Whaley cheaply in reply, but a calm unbroken third-wicket partnership of 76 sealed a comfortable win. Hayden Hamilton struck an unbeaten 51 from 53 balls with three fours and three sixes, while Ireland Under-19 international Rob O'Brien finished 36 not out as Railway reached their target in 21 overs. Their reward is a home tie against Leinster.

The Hills booked their place in the next round with a hard-fought 13-run victory over Terenure in a gripping clash that ebbed and flowed throughout. Opener Muzamil Sherzad gave The Hills an explosive start, smashing 61 from just 50 balls with seven fours and three sixes. He shared a superb second-wicket stand of 82 with overseas professional Liam Blackford, who contributed 29. However, from a commanding 93 for 1, The Hills collapsed dramatically to 160 all out in 36.4 overs. Bhavic Tukrel led the fightback with excellent figures of 4 for 35, while skipper Henry Dall and Alex Bafanda claimed two wickets each. Terenure’s chase remained finely balanced throughout. Sid Nair struck 49 with six fours and two sixes, while Dall made 31 and Tukrel completed an impressive all-round display with 32. But The Hills held their nerve in the closing stages as skipper Tomas Rooney-Murphy took 3 for 29, supported by two wickets apiece from Killian McGrane, Matthew Weldon and Sherzad. Their reward is a home tie against the winners of Civil Service/Adamstown.
Round 1: Rush tied with North County with NC winning on fewer wickets lost.

North County snatched the most dramatic victory of the opening round, tying with Rush before progressing on fewer wickets lost in a breathtaking finish at Kenure. In a rain-shortened 25-over clash, Rush blasted 202 all out in just 22.4 overs after recovering from 33 for 3. Skipper Nathan McGuire launched a stunning counterattack, smashing 66 from only 28 balls with nine fours and four sixes. Finn McGee then continued the assault with a brutal 45 from 20 deliveries that included six towering sixes. Brandon Morris and Husnain Maroof each claimed three wickets, while captain Eddie Richardson took two. North County’s reply was built on solid contributions throughout the order. Lochie Hardy and John Devane both made 30, while Jamie Grassi hammered 25 from just 13 balls and Alan Mathew added a rapid 30. But the final act belonged to Richardson, whose unbeaten 56 from 45 balls held his nerve under immense pressure. With four needed from the last delivery, the skipper crashed the ball to the boundary to tie the scores and send North County through to a quarter-final meeting with Clontarf, as well as securing important Fingal bragging rights.

Leinster stormed into the next round with a stunning seven-wicket victory over Merrion at Rathmines. Merrion recovered well after losing teenagers Oliver Molins and Seb Dijkstra early in the innings. Swapnil Modgill injected momentum with a rapid 32 from just 22 balls, including five fours and a six, before the ever-reliable John Anderson anchored the innings superbly with 82 from 83 deliveries, striking nine fours and two sixes. Jai Moondra impressed with 3 for 39 ahead of this week’s Emerald Challenge, while Tom Johnson claimed two wickets as Merrion posted 190 for 8 from 30 overs. Leinster’s chase looked shaky at 38 for 3 after Andrew Doheny struck twice, but the match was transformed by a breathtaking unbroken fourth-wicket partnership of 158 in just 11.3 overs. Younas Ahmadzai produced a sensational unbeaten 105 from only 39 balls, hammering 12 fours and eight sixes in a remarkable assault on the Rathmines boundary and environs. Joey Carroll provided excellent support with an unbeaten 48 from 33 balls (6 fours, 2 sixes) as Leinster raced home with ease and booked a trip to Railway Union in the next round.

Henry Dall's unbeaten hundred won it for Terenure (Cricket Leinster)
Terenure captain Henry Dall scored a brilliant unbeaten hundred to lead his team to a five-wicket (DLS) win over Knockharley. Daneyaal Janjua thumped nine sixes in a 78--ball unbeaten hundred as the visitors posted 271 for 7 - two wickets apiece for Kripesh Shetty, Zeeshan Mumtiaz and Dall. Gareth Morgan went early in the chase but Mick Cotter (23) and Dall steadied the ship with a half century stand. Rain meant a revised target of 168 in 24 overs and thanks to Dall they coasted to the win as the Australian hit 18 boundaries in his 74-ball unbeaten 101 to seal the win with two overs to spare.
