Donemana reached the All-Ireland Under-15 final in the most dramatic fashion imaginable, beating Phoenix from the final ball of a thrilling semi-final. Phoenix posted a challenging 156 for two, with captain Gautam Rana Reddy Akkapelli carrying his bat for an unbeaten 85 from 72 balls, while Rohan Praveen struck 44 not out from just 25 deliveries. They had been 53 for two after 12 overs, but accelerated as 103 came from the last eight. Donemana’s reply was built around a superb 60 from Alfie Moan, who struck four fours and three sixes, while captain Ollie Britton supplied a patient 27 as they shared an opening stand of 97 in 13 overs. Roy McGerrigle added a quick 13, but wickets tumbled late to leave the Tyrone side requiring two from the final delivery, as the tension grew all around the Park. With the pressure at its greatest, Ollie Donnell held his nerve to score the winning runs, carrying the Tyrone side to a memorable victory.

Phoenix eased to a five-wicket win over Malahide at The Village. Malahide were bowled out for 150 in 40 overs, with Mohit Sane top-scoring on 35. Adam Doyle and Aaron Doyle both made 27, while Andrew Sheridan added 18, but wickets fell too regularly to allow the home side to build real momentum. Phoenix shared the wickets around impressively. Sean McNicholl claimed 3 for 21, while George Dockrell matched those figures with 3 for 21. Amish Sidhu added 2 for 24 as Malahide were dismissed with ten overs unused. Phoenix lost Johit Munjal without a run on the board, but Shane Getkate’s 35 steadied the chase. Tyrone Kane then struck a decisive 39, and although Sane took 3 for 49, unbeaten cameos from Sidhu and Raghav Grover saw Phoenix home on 156 for 5 in 27.3 overs.

The home side were bowled out for 155 in 43.1 overs, with Tyrone Kane's 43 and Raghav Grover's 33 the main contributions. Jai Moondra produced a devastating spell of 3 for 4, while Saqib Bahadur (3-35) and Tom Johnson (2-33) also impressed. Leinster made light work of the target, reaching 158 for 2 in just 24.5 overs. Opener Tom Johnson anchored the innings with an unbeaten 82 from 69 balls, striking 11 fours and three sixes. He shared an unbroken third-wicket stand of 71 with Younas Ahmadzai, who finished 24 not out, sealing an emphatic victory.

Phoenix produced a dominant all-round display to defeat Rush by 40 runs after posting an imposing 171 for 3 in their 20 overs. USA international Aditiba Chudasama starred with the bat, top-scoring with 75 from 53 balls, an innings featuring 10 fours and a six. She shared a match-defining second-wicket partnership of 119 with Siúin Woods, who struck 48 from 44 deliveries, including two fours and two sixes. Rush's reply suffered an immediate setback when overseas player Cate Pedersen was run out without facing a ball. Although Ellie McGee kept her side in contention with an excellent 65 from 48 balls, including nine boundaries, the target always looked beyond reach. Rebekah O'Donohoe finished unbeaten on 14, but Rush closed on 131 for 9. Chudasama completed a fine all-round performance with 2 for 27, while Darcey Dalwood claimed 2 for 23 as Phoenix secured a comfortable victory.

Phoenix defeated North County by 81 runs after a match that saw both sides suffer dramatic batting collapses. Captain Shane Getkate was the standout performer, blasting 109 from just 90 balls, including 12 fours and seven sixes. He shared a valuable 60-run partnership with George Dockrell, who contributed 32, as Phoenix reached 153-3 before losing their way and being bowled out for 222. Alan Mathew claimed 3-44 for County. North County's reply followed a similar pattern. They looked well placed at 70-1 before collapsing to 141 all out in 35.3 overs. Lochie Hardy top-scored with 38, while Alan Mathew made 22 not out. Aadil Naizam (3-10) and Amish Sidhu (3-30) led the Phoenix bowling attack impressively with three wickets apiece while George Dockrell completed a fine all-round effort with two scalps.

Pembroke's bowlers shared the wickets, Joe Prendergast, Paul Lawson, Olly Riley and Byron McDonough all claiming two apiece. Pembroke made light work of the revised target, racing to 80 without loss in just 7.4 overs. Phoenix powered to a nine-wicket DLS victory over North County in Group C at Balrothery after a dominant batting display. North County made a bright start as openers Lochie Hardy and Suliman Safi added 73 in seven overs. Hardy struck four sixes in an entertaining 34 from 22 balls, while Safi contributed 31 from 23 deliveries. However, the innings lost momentum badly thereafter, with only John Devane's run-a-ball 25 offering further resistance as they were bowled out for 132. George Dockrell (3-13) and James Maginnis (3-34) starred with the ball. Phoenix lost Johnit Mungal to a run out from the second ball of the chase, but skipper Shane Getkate blasted an unbeaten 79 from 37 balls (10 fours, 5 sixes) and, alongside Tyrone Kane's unbeaten 29 (4 fours, 1 six), added 112 in 10 overs to race past their revised target.

In a match reduced to 36 overs per side after a delayed start, Pembroke posted 197-9. Tim Tector dominated an opening stand of 55, striking 41 from 37 balls with four fours and three sixes. Danny Hogan anchored the innings with 55 from 72 deliveries, including four fours and three sixes, while Greg Hollins made a run-a-ball 35 and Sanil Gupta added a brisk 27. George Dockrell starred with the ball, taking 3-29, while Ben White and Sean McNicholl claimed two wickets each. Set a revised target of 148 in 23 overs, Phoenix lost Shane Getkate first ball but recovered impressively. Getkate hit 10 fours and two sixes as Phoenix won with 35 balls to spare. The Hills were bowled out in 17 overs with no batter scoring more than 15. Amish Sidhu was the most successful bowler with three wickets.

Pembroke stayed on course for a successful title defence with a 26-run victory over Phoenix at Sydney Parade despite fielding an understrength side. Addison Sherriff top-scored with 66, striking eight fours in a polished innings, while Danny Hogan added 58 with five boundaries and a six as Pembroke posted 248 all out in 47.5 overs. S Gupta chipped in with 27, while James Maginnis was the pick of the Phoenix attack with 3-22. Ben White and Sean McNicholl both claimed two wickets. Phoenix looked well placed in the chase after a flying start from Johit Munjal and Shane Getkate, who added 91 for the opening wicket. Munjal made 42 and Getkate 35 before George Dockrell kept the pursuit alive with a superb 79. However, the middle and lower order collapsed under pressure as Byron McDonough ripped through the batting with four wickets. Paul Lawson provided excellent support with two scalps as Phoenix were dismissed for 222 in 46.4 overs.

Balbriggan eased into the semi-final of the Senior Cup with a convincing six-wicket win over Phoenix at the Jack Harper Ground. Phoenix struggled to build momentum after being restricted to 123 for 7 from their 20 overs, with Arisha Foysal top-scoring on 27 not out. The standout bowling performance came from Erin Knight, who ripped through the middle order with impressive figures of 3 for 9. Balbriggan made light work of the chase, reaching 124 for 4 with more than three overs to spare. Madison Landsman led the way with a fluent 49, while Julia Hoal added 29 in a controlled run chase. Foysal completed a solid all-round display with 2 for 19. Balbriggan will host Pembroke in the last four clash on June 30th.

Phoenix eased to a seven-wicket victory over Malahide after restricting the visitors to a below-par total before completing a composed chase. Malahide suffered an immediate setback when overseas player Meg Thompson was bowled by Alice Tector in the opening over, a blow from which the innings never fully recovered. Anna Kerrison top-scored with 31 while Gemma Sargent added an unbeaten 29, but Phoenix kept control throughout as Malahide stuttered to 121 for 6 from their 20 overs. Darcey Dalwood was the standout bowler with impressive figures of 3 for 18. Phoenix’s reply was anchored superbly by Irish international Tector, whose unbeaten 48 guided her side home with more than two overs to spare. She built the chase steadily, sharing useful 30-run partnerships with Siúin Woods, Georgina Dempsey and Nebedha Saravanarajan. Woods contributed 20 in a calm and measured pursuit. Arlene Kelly, Kerrison and Sargent each picked up a wicket, but Phoenix were rarely troubled.

Chris Dougherty’s 112 balls of defiance took CI to a superb two wickets victory over Phoenix at Belmont. Set 221 for victory, Dougherty came to the middle in the 11th over at 38 for two and when CI won the match with four balls to spare, he was 82 not out, having hit eight fours and two sixes..Jacob Mulder hit a valuable 17 in the the eighth wicket stand of 45 and Alex Armstrong stayed with him to the finish, as he ended the match with successive fours. Four Phoenix batters reached 36 but he highest score was 43 when they finished on 220 for nine.

Rush had little trouble beating Phoenix despite the best efforts of Irish international Alice Tector. In a dramatic start, Tector watched from the non-striker's end as Mabel O'Donohoe and Darcie Armstrong reduced the visitors to 10 for 6 in the third over. Alice though shepherded the lower order to 126 for 8, making an unbeaten 47-ball 67 (7 fours, 1 six), receiving excellent support from Sophoe McDonough, Elizabeth Walsh and Alanna Staunton. Rebecca Lowe's journey down from Lisburn was worth it as she hit four boundaries in her 19 to get the chase off to a fast start. Cate Pedersen then took centre stage as she hit eight boundaries in her 46-ball 63 not out, sharing an unbroken second wicket stand of 99 in 12 overs with Ellie McGee, who made a run-a-ball 32. Rush cruising to a nine-wicket win in the 15th over.

Balbriggan got their season up and running with a big win over a Phoenix side that are struggling in early season. Amish Sidhu (41) and Levon Shields (34) laid the platform for a big total as they added 60 for the second wicket, but Ruan Strauss (3-17) waltzed his way through the middle order to leave them on an under par 189 all out - two wickets apiece for Jordan and Matthew Hollard as well as Seb De Oliveria. Connor Fletcher made a breezy 23, but he became one of two victims for Sean McNicholl. The match defining third wicket stand of 110 in 18 overs then came from Chris De Freitas and Ghanim Dara. CDF hit 6 fours and 3 sixes in his 59, while Dara - who was contemplating a move northwards - will be glad he stayed, making 51 (4 fours, 1 six). Aaron McGeehan (25*) finished things off quickly hitting five boundaries as the six-wicket win was sealed in the 34th over.

Cork County produced the result of the day and then some with an eight-wicket demolition of Phoenix. Wickets for Bakhtyar Nabi, Thorne Prophet, skipper Diarmuid Carey, and William Shields had the home side in diffs at 87 for 5, but they rallied with half centuries from Tyrone Kane (65) and Raghav Grover (55) in a sixth wicket stand of 83. Rory MacColl (26) added late runs and a final total of 253 looked defendable. However, Raj Undre and debutant Josh Hartill had other ideas. They were helped by Tyrone Kane losing his radar as a flurry of wides and no balls saw him unable to complete his second over. Undre went on to hit 15 fours and 5 sixes in his 136 from 122 balls, adding exactly 200 with overseas professional Hartnill, whose unbeaten 76 included 10 fours and a maximum. Cork's win will certainly give them cause for optimism in the rest of the season.
