Balbriggan held their nerve to beat Cork County by four wickets at the Jack Harper Ground. Cork County were bowled out for 200 in 38.5 overs, with Brian Upman the clear mainstay of the innings. He struck an excellent 89, while Josh Hartill made 30 and Nabeel Anjum added 28. Jordan Hollard was Balbriggan’s key bowler, claiming 5 for 46, with Andrew Darroch taking 3 for 26 and Ruan Strauss 2 for 47. The chase was shaped by Chris De Freitas, who made a composed 74 to put Balbriggan in control. Kai Curran added an important 44, but three wickets fell on 174 to give Cork County renewed hope. However, Hollard completed a fine all-round display with an unbeaten 14, while Dylan Lues made 13 not out as Balbriggan reached their target in the 40th over.

Pembroke continued their impressive pursuit of silverware with a hard-fought 38-run victory over Balbriggan in the third round of the Leinster Senior Cup at Sydney Parade. The hosts were in early trouble at 21 for 2 after the quick departures of JJ Garth and Tim Tector, but a superb third-wicket partnership of 140 between Addison Sherriff and Harry Tector restored control. Sherriff struck 71, including six boundaries, while Tector made 76 with two fours and two sixes. Pembroke accelerated impressively in the closing stages. Lorcan Tucker blasted 47 from just 39 balls before Jack Tector's unbeaten 58 from 36 deliveries helped add 93 for the fifth wicket. Gavin Hoey then provided the late fireworks, smashing 34 from only 11 balls as Pembroke posted 316 for 6. Balbriggan appeared beaten at 51 for 4 and later 152 for 6, despite Chris de Freitas making 52. Jordan Hollard launched a spirited counterattack with a 66-ball 83, but Pembroke's total proved beyond reach as the cup holders advanced.

Pembroke maintained their unbeaten record and strengthened their grip on top spot in the Premier League with an emphatic 88-run victory over Balbriggan at Sydney Parade. The leaders posted 285 all out from 49.5 overs, built around excellent contributions from Addison Sherriff (72), JJ Garth (63) and Tim Tector (45). Seb de Oliveira claimed 4 for 50 for the visitors. Balbriggan's reply never seriously threatened the target despite a battling 54 from Kai Curran and 44 from Chris de Freitas. Paul Lawson led the Pembroke attack with 3 for 48, supported by Olly Riley and Byron McDonough, as Balbriggan were dismissed for 197. The win keeps Pembroke comfortably clear at the summit.

Balbriggan cruised to a comprehensive 10-wicket victory over an out-of-sorts Malahide in a one-sided encounter. Malahide were bundled out for just 61 in 11.5 overs, as only Meg Thompson (14) and Sorcha O'Carolan Murphy (11) reached double figures. Lara Maritz and Courtney Gounden led the bowling effort, claiming two wickets apiece, while the Balbriggan attack maintained relentless pressure throughout the innings. Any hopes of a Malahide fightback were quickly extinguished as Balbriggan raced to their target in just 5.2 overs without losing a wicket. Maritz blasted an unbeaten 30 from only 14 balls, while Gounden finished 28 not out from 19 deliveries. Both batters struck three fours and a six in an unbroken opening partnership of 62 as Balbriggan completed an emphatic victory and secured the maximum points.

Balbriggan secured a comfortable six-wicket victory over Merrion in the Leinster Premiership after an excellent bowling performance laid the foundations for success. Jordan Hollard was the star with the ball, ripping through the Merrion batting line-up to claim superb figures of 5-23, while Seb de Oliveira provided strong support with 3-25. Merrion were dismissed for 119 in 30.3 overs, with Corne Botha (33), Seb Dijkstra (29) and Jamie Forbes (21) their main contributors. Balbriggan's chase was controlled throughout, led by Connor Fletcher's 37 and Kai Curran's 26. Chris De Freitas finished unbeaten on 23 as the visitors reached 125-4 in 21.2 overs. Peter Forkin claimed 2-29 for Merrion, but Balbriggan completed the job with plenty to spare.

Jordan Hollard provided a powerful late surge, finishing unbeaten on 39 from just 19 deliveries with five sixes, while Cameron Rowe contributed 27. Jeremy Martins and Timcy Khanduja took two wickets apiece for Malahide. A revised target never troubled the visitors. Skipper Jeremy Martins followed up his bowling performance with an unbeaten 41 from 28 balls, hitting two fours and three sixes. Balbriggan secured a 39-run DLS victory over Malahide at the Jack Harper Ground to strengthen their position in the table. Batting first, Balbriggan were bowled out for 205 in 47.1 overs. The foundation of their innings was a third-wicket partnership of 75 between Chris de Freitas and Prashan Naidoo. De Freitas top-scored with 67, striking four fours and two sixes, while Naidoo contributed 35. Valuable late runs from Ruan Strauss, unbeaten on 21, and Dylan Lues, who made 17, helped push the total beyond 200. James Newland and Robbie Foulkes each claimed three wickets for Malahide. Set a revised target of 182 from 36 overs, Malahide were well placed at 86 for 3 thanks to a 49-run fourth-wicket stand between Greg Ford (34) and Jeremy Martins (19). However, the innings then collapsed as Dylan Lues starred with 4-31, dismissing Malahide for 142.

Sam Morgan hit 74 for Clontarf, at a strike rate of 217, with five fours and seven sixes before he was third out at the start of the 15th over with the total on 137. Clontarf still added 43 from the last five overs which ensured the win points.

A superb opening spell of 8-3-20-6 by captain Ruhan Pretorius set Woodvale up for a stunning victory at Ballgomartin Road and end Balbriggan’s reign as Irish Cup holders at the first hurdle. Pretorius single-handedly reduced Balbriggan to 46 for six and only a rearguard 43, from 98 balls by Aaron McGeehan allowed the north Dubliners to bat 40 overs. He was last man out with the total on 138. It proved no problem for the NCU side, who had beaten Premier League champions Instonians the previous day. Ludwig Kaestner also took three wickets and added 84 with Pretorius, who finished the job with the bat as well; he was 51 not out when Woodvale won in the 43rd over.

Balbriggan claimed Fingal bragging rights with a four-wicket victory over North County at Balrothery. North County were bowled out for 129 in 37.2 overs despite a fighting innings from Jamie Grassi, who was last man out for a counterattacking 52 that included six fours and a six. Jordan Hollard starred with the ball for Balbriggan, taking 4-34, while Dylan Lues and Ruan Strauss picked up two wickets each. Hollard then carried his superb form into the chase, blasting 54 from just 24 deliveries with seven fours and three sixes. He shared a decisive second-wicket stand of 64 with Cameron Rowe, who made 29. North County fought hard through Alan Mathew’s 3-40 and Brandon Morris’s 2-36, but Aaron McGeehan’s unbeaten 22 ensured there was no late drama as Balbriggan reached 130 for 6 in the 18th over.

Balbriggan eased into the semi-final of the Senior Cup with a convincing six-wicket win over Phoenix at the Jack Harper Ground. Phoenix struggled to build momentum after being restricted to 123 for 7 from their 20 overs, with Arisha Foysal top-scoring on 27 not out. The standout bowling performance came from Erin Knight, who ripped through the middle order with impressive figures of 3 for 9. Balbriggan made light work of the chase, reaching 124 for 4 with more than three overs to spare. Madison Landsman led the way with a fluent 49, while Julia Hoal added 29 in a controlled run chase. Foysal completed a solid all-round display with 2 for 19. Balbriggan will host Pembroke in the last four clash on June 30th.

Balbriggan booked their place in the next round with a comfortable five-wicket DLS victory over North Kildare at The Maws. After rain reduced the contest to 26 overs per side, North Kildare posted 149 for 7 thanks largely to an excellent unbeaten innings from opener Moize Haider. Haider carried his bat for 65 from 77 balls, striking four fours and four sixes in a composed knock that held the innings together. Ankit Pareek chipped in with 20, but regular wickets prevented the hosts from building real momentum. Balbriggan shared the bowling duties effectively, with Dylan Lues, Seb de Oliveira and Jordan Hollard all taking two wickets apiece. Set a revised target of 157, Balbriggan made light work of the chase. Cameron Rowe gave the innings early impetus with 31 from 30 balls before a decisive third-wicket partnership swung the game firmly their way. Prashan Naidoo blasted 53 from 45 deliveries, including five fours and two sixes, while left-hander Chris de Freitas struck 46 from only 32 balls with seven boundaries and a six. Their stand of 77 in just 51 balls effectively settled the outcome long before the finish line was reached. Balbriggan now progress to face the winners of the Phoenix versus Pembroke tie in the next round.

Balbriggan powered to a convincing 65-run victory over Rush thanks to a magnificent unbeaten innings from Irish international Lara Maritz. Recently recalled to the Super Series squad, Maritz underlined her class with a breathtaking 98 not out from just 56 balls, falling narrowly short of a deserved century. Her superb knock featured 13 fours and three sixes and formed the backbone of Balbriggan’s imposing total of 182 for 7. South African overseas professional Julia Hoal provided early momentum with a rapid 32 from 17 deliveries, striking five boundaries, while Madison Landsman added an important 23. Rush skipper Ellie McGee impressed with the ball, taking 3 for 23, while Rebecca Lowe claimed two wickets. Rush never seriously threatened the target despite a lively 31 from McGee. Balbriggan’s bowlers maintained control throughout the chase, with Indie Harper taking 2 for 12 and Landsman capping a fine all-round display with figures of 2 for 21 as Rush closed on 117 for 6.

Malahide romped to a ten-wicket win over Fingal neighbours Balbriggan thanks to a convincing all-round display. Julia Hoal ploughed a lonely furrow as the South African dominated the Balbriggan batting making 76 of their modest 128 for 9. Hoal punished anything remotely loose, dispatching 13 boundaries in her 48-ball stay. Saran Condron and Haley Moore were the pick of the hosts attack. Freya Sargent demonstrated her all-round ability as she hit 11 fours in her unbeaten 68, adding an unbroken 129 for the first wicket with Meg Thompson (46*) as they raced to victory in the 16th over of a surprisingly one-sided contest.

Irish Cup holders Balbriggan flexed their batting muscles to power their way to a 164-run win over Civil Service. Cameron Rowe set the tone with a rapid 54-ball 73 (12 fours), adding 112 for the second wicket with Ghanim Dara (33). There were runs too for Seb De Olivieria who hit an even time 55 (4 fours, 2 sixes) as he put on 76 for the 6th wicket with Farooq Nasr (36) in an imposing total of 314. Civil Service never threatened in the chase as they were bowled out for 150 - three wickets for Dylan Lues, and two each for Jordan Hollard, Ruan Strauss, and De Oliveria.

Balbriggan got their season up and running with a big win over a Phoenix side that are struggling in early season. Amish Sidhu (41) and Levon Shields (34) laid the platform for a big total as they added 60 for the second wicket, but Ruan Strauss (3-17) waltzed his way through the middle order to leave them on an under par 189 all out - two wickets apiece for Jordan and Matthew Hollard as well as Seb De Oliveria. Connor Fletcher made a breezy 23, but he became one of two victims for Sean McNicholl. The match defining third wicket stand of 110 in 18 overs then came from Chris De Freitas and Ghanim Dara. CDF hit 6 fours and 3 sixes in his 59, while Dara - who was contemplating a move northwards - will be glad he stayed, making 51 (4 fours, 1 six). Aaron McGeehan (25*) finished things off quickly hitting five boundaries as the six-wicket win was sealed in the 34th over.

Leinster gave the home support plenty to cheer as they chased down 228 to beat Balbriggan at Rathmimes. Balbriggan's Chris De Freitas top-scored with 78 from just 69 balls (11 fours, 1 six) as he and Conor Fletcher (44) shared a third wicket stand of 107. There were late fireworks too for Jordan Hollard who clubbed three sixes in a 22-ball 31. Bilal Azhar took four wickets, while there were three for Jai Moondra and a brace for Mark Tonge. The momentum of the match swung one way then the other, but Younas Ahmadzai (34) and Joey Carroll (29) added 61 for the fourth wicket at a vital time. Tom O'Connor was the bedrock of the later stages, with his unbeaten 46 getting Leinster over the line with support from Mark Tonge (19) and that man again, Bilal Azhar (22*) who seems to thrive on pressure situations.
