Instonians finished third as they secured an exciting two wickets win over Lisburn at Wallace Park. 

Despite a century from Andrew White at No 3 and 76, off 72 balls from Shane Dadswell, Instonians, chasing 292 for victory, collapsed from 242 for three to 268 for eight. 

But David  Agnew (25 not out) and James Lambert scored the remaining runs, Lambert winning the match by hitting the last ball of the 48th over for six. 

Nigel Jones was the game’s top scorer with 108 from 104 balls (six fours, six sixes), sharing stands of 115 with Neil Whitworth for the fourth wicket and 96 with James Hunter for  the sixth. 

Hunter finished 52 not out from 52 balls but after hitting White for six, he could manage only four singles from his last five balls as Lambert, despite being the seventh bowler for Instonians, also proved a hero with the ball, conceding just five runs from the last over.
