Getkate century powers Phoenix to crushing victory
Shane Getkate struck a superb century before Tanvir Hasan claimed five wickets as Phoenix swept aside Rush by 178 runs.

Batting first, Phoenix piled up an imposing 376 for eight from their 50 overs.
Johit Munjal provided a flying start with 36 from only 24 deliveries before Getkate took control. The former Ireland international hammered 120 from 98 balls, striking 14 fours and six sixes.
Callum O’Byrne added 39, while Tyrone Kane made 60 from 59 balls during a decisive third-wicket partnership of 155 with Getkate.
Amish Sidhu then supplied late acceleration with an unbeaten 44 from 30 deliveries as Phoenix surged beyond 350. Asher Abbasi claimed four wickets for Rush, although his 10 overs cost 90 runs.
Rush’s reply never developed the momentum required for such a demanding chase.
James Maginnis removed Alex Neary for a duck and went on to claim three wickets, while Sidhu and Aadil Naizam also struck.
Nasir Totakhil offered the only major resistance with 65 from 54 balls, including 10 fours and a six.
Hasan, however, tore through the lower order to finish with five for 60 as Rush were dismissed for 198, completing a comprehensive Phoenix victory.
