Haslett inspires Bonds Glen to Under-15 Girls Cup glory
Sarah Haslett produced a superb unbeaten 71 as Bonds Glen defeated Killyclooney by 109 runs to lift the Under-15 Girls Cup and book their place in next month’s All-Ireland finals.

Batting first, Bonds Glen recovered from a difficult start which saw them lose three wickets for just 10 runs.
Jessie Young made one, while Cassie Wallace and Holly McClintock were both dismissed without scoring as Miley Buchanan and Lindsay struck early.
Captain Leah Thompson steadied the innings with a brisk 27 from 21 balls, hitting four boundaries, before Haslett took control.
Her unbeaten 71 came from 51 deliveries and contained 12 fours, providing the backbone of an imposing total of 151 for six from 20 overs.
Darci Young added an important 17, while Anna Spratt finished unbeaten on four. Buchanan and Sophie Patterson claimed two wickets apiece for Killyclooney.
The reply never gathered momentum as Bonds Glen struck repeatedly with the ball.
McClintock removed Lindsay and Buchanan in the opening over, before Gracie Spratt dismissed Patterson for four.
Emilie Davis top-scored with 14, but her run-out left Killyclooney struggling at 28 for four.
Haslett then completed an outstanding all-round performance by taking two for seven from three overs, including a maiden. Anna Spratt also claimed two wickets, while Gracie Spratt and Darci Young collected one each.

Killyclooney were bowled out for 42 to complete a resounding victory for a Bonds Glen side continuing to make great strides in the girls and women's game.
