Leinster Under-19 Women completed a seven-wicket victory over the North West after Aisling Lawlor produced a superb unbeaten 92 in a successful pursuit of 198.

The North West had earlier posted 197, as Ella Wasson struck five fours in her 25 before captain Millie Spence took control with an excellent 79 from 75 deliveries. Her innings, featuring eight fours and a six, was supported by Bready team mate Mansi Bhavsar = six of the starting XI hailing from the Maghermason club - who contributed 31 during a crucial fifth-wicket partnership of 111.

Darcey Dalwood led the Leinster attack with four for 25, while Sibha Bhoja claimed three wickets and Genevieve Morrissey and Lawlor took one apiece.

Leinster lost Izzy McLean for four in the opening over, but Aisling and Zoe Bell transformed the chase with a commanding second-wicket stand of 130.

Zoe struck five boundaries in her 48 before being bowled, while Isobel Jennings fell without scoring immediately afterwards.

Aisling remained composed, hitting 10 fours in her unbeaten century stand, with Aoife Hayden adding 14 not out as Leinster reached their target with 28 balls remaining.

The win means Leinster finished with four wins, their 18 points total leaving them five behind winners NCU.

For the NW, it's been a difficult campaign, finishing bottom of the table with no points having lost all six games.
