HALL MAKING HIS MARK AT BREADY

When Bready found themselves rooted to the foot of the North West Premiership in the early weeks of the season, few would have predicted they would be sitting fourth as the campaign enters the second half. One of the biggest reasons for that remarkable turnaround has been the form of 22-year-old Kenzie Hall, a close season signing  from Killyclooney.

The talented all-rounder endured a quiet start after making the move to Magheramason, but once he found his feet there has been no looking back. Match-winning centuries against both Coleraine and Strabane have underlined exactly why Bready were so keen to secure his signature, with his composed yet attacking style providing the stability their batting line-up had been missing.

He currently sits fifth in the Premiership run charts with 466 runs at an average of 35.85, with more to come on present form.

Hall's runs have come at crucial moments, helping transform Bready from relegation candidates into genuine contenders for a top-half finish. His influence has stretched beyond the scoreboard, bringing confidence to a youthful dressing room that has grown stronger with every passing week.

"I'm really happy to have started settling in at Bready," said Hall. "The lads have been brilliant from day one and that has made the transition really easy. It's a great club with a fantastic group of players."

Having found his rhythm, Hall is determined to keep making meaningful contributions during the second half of the season.

"It's nice to be scoring runs, but the important thing is helping the team win matches. Hopefully I can keep contributing and we can finish the league in a really strong position."

The former Killyclooney batsman believes Bready's improvement has been built on togetherness rather than individual performances.

"We've got a young squad with plenty of talent and everyone is buying into what we're trying to achieve. Every week someone different seems to be putting their hand up, and that's a great sign for the club."

If Hall continues his rich vein of form, Bready's remarkable rise up the Premiership table may not be over yet. His arrival has already proved one of the shrewdest pieces of recruitment of the North West season, and the Magheramason club will hope there are plenty more match-winning innings still to come.
