Cork Harlequins recovered from early trouble to beat Midleton by six wickets in a controlled chase after Seanan Jones had set up the victory with a five-wicket haul.

Midleton were bowled out for 141 in 30.5 overs after a dramatic start left them 10 for 3. Seanan Jones removed Fayyaz Khan, Zuhair Shah and Awais Yasin Ahmed inside the first three overs, before Abubakar Saddique Wattoo and captain Majid Khan steadied matters.
Majid made 34 from 45 balls, while Muhammad Shabir gave the innings late substance with an unbeaten 39, including three sixes. Murad Rasheed added 10, but Midleton could not build sustained partnerships. Jones finished with 5 for 33, while Kalathera claimed 4 for 48.
Harlequins also stumbled early, slipping to 31 for 4 as Haroon Safi produced a superb spell of 4 for 42, removing Adam Hickey, Connor Stevenson, Dineth Sumanasinghe and Jones.
However, Shivam Kislay and captain Kieran O’Reilly calmly turned the match. Kislay finished unbeaten on 46 from 83 balls, while O’Reilly made 40 not out from 93 deliveries as Harlequins reached their target in the 38th over.
Limerick held their nerve to claim a two-wicket win over Cork County in a tense contest after chasing down 184 in 41.4 overs.
Cork County were bowled out for 183 after electing to bat, with Niall Donnelly anchoring the innings with a patient 38 from 85 balls. Girish Khot made 29 at the top of the order, while Sam Fenn provided late momentum with 25, including two sixes, in a useful ninth-wicket stand with Darshit Shetty, who finished unbeaten on 19.
Prasad Hegde was the pick of the Limerick attack with 3 for 47, while Ramoji Alla claimed 2 for 28. Anvesh Bogavelly was outstandingly economical, taking 1 for 11 from 10 overs, five of them maidens.
Limerick’s reply was built around Bogavelly’s brisk 37 from 24 balls, with Nishant Kumar adding 27 and Alla steering the lower order with an unbeaten 28. Cork County threatened a comeback through Prashant Singh, who took 4 for 35, while Shetty added 2 for 30.
However, Alla and Ajay Hari, unbeaten on 12, saw Limerick home with 8.2 overs to spare.
County Galway held their nerve to beat Clare by 37 runs after a strong recovery with the bat and a disciplined display with the ball.
Galway looked in deep trouble after slumping to 63 for 6, with K Javed and WS Qureshi making early inroads. However, captain Illif Sumit and Khizar Mehmood turned the match around with a crucial seventh-wicket stand of 119.
Sumit played the anchor role, making a patient 53 from 120 balls, while Mehmood counter-attacked impressively for 70 from 71 deliveries, striking ten fours and a six. Their partnership lifted Galway to 213 all out in 49.1 overs. Gurpreet Singh was Clare’s most successful bowler with 3 for 35, while Javed picked up 2 for 18.
Clare’s reply was given early momentum by Ahmad Khaleel, who struck 49 from 43 balls, including eight fours and two sixes. Hrushikesh Pardeshi added 25, but Galway kept taking wickets at important stages.
Sukhpal Singh proved decisive with 3 for 37, while Mehmood and Nasim claimed two wickets apiece. Despite late resistance from Pannerselvam, Clare were dismissed for 176 in 38.2 overs.
County Kerry produced a batting masterclass as they crushed Nenagh by 392 runs after piling up a mammoth 471 for 6 in their 50 overs.
Alam Morshed led the Kerry onslaught with a magnificent 170, setting the tone in a dominant top-order display. He shared a huge opening stand of 211 with wicketkeeper Muhsin Ali, who made a fine 103 before being dismissed by Mathai.
There was no respite for Nenagh, as Braden Warnke added 28 before Awais Saghir narrowly missed out on a century, run out for 97. Kerry kept the scoreboard racing throughout, helped by 35 extras, including 30 wides, as Nenagh’s bowlers endured a chastening afternoon.
George and Mathai claimed two wickets apiece, but Kerry’s total was always likely to be decisive.
Nenagh’s reply never recovered from a disastrous start as Taj ripped through the order, taking 5 for 19 from 10 overs. Sherzad struck twice early, while Ali added two wickets to his century.
Cinulal Varickatharappel offered lone resistance with 47, but Nenagh were bowled out for 79 in 21.5 overs as Kerry completed a ruthless victory.
