Former Australian international Moises Henriques will play for Portugal at the European Sub-Regional qualifier group C tournament in August.
Henriques was born in Portugal before his family emigrated to Australia when he was aged one. He played 44 times for Australia across all three formats. He last played for them in 2021, and so has more than served to three year stand down period needed when switching from a full member to an associate.

He remains a regular for the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League, and Portugal will be hoping to repeat the success Italy have had with selections such as Joe Burns.
The qualifying tournament for Portugal begins in August, and they will be in a group with Czechia, Germany, Greece and Israel, with Bulgaria, hosts Finland, Isle of Man, Luxembourg and Spain making up the other group.
