Serbia have won their four match series againsat Bulgaria this past weekend by a margin of 3-1.
In the first match on Friday, the home side were asked to bat first and scored 106-9 from their 20 overs, the 40 extras conceded by Serbia forming much of their total. Nadja Nojic then top scored for Serbia in their run chase with an unbeaten 29 as they completed a five wicket win with 2.2 overs to spare.
Bulgaria were again put in by Serbian captain Sladjana Matijevic in the first of two games played on Saturday, and were more successful, this time scoring 138-4 from their 20 overs with Vili Nlkolova top scoring with 60. A superb final over bowled by Datelina Ruynekova in the Serbian run chase, in which she conceded just one run and took three wickets was crucial in securing a seven run win for the hosts to tie the series.
