Cyprus have swept their five match women's T20I series against Malta at the Happy Valley ground in Cyprus.

The series began on Thursday with Cyprus scoring 95 batting first. Dinelka Koralalage then took four wickets for nine runs to bowl Malta out for 71, securing a 24 run win. In the second game of the day, Cypriot captain Iresha Chathurani scored an unbeaten 69 as her team scored 126-4 and then took 3-6 to bowl Malta out for 44 to win by 82 runs.

Malta batted first in the third game of the series on Friday and were bowled out for just 39. Cyrpus somehow lost five wickets in reply, but held on to chase their target down in 9.2 overs. The second game that day, and fourth overall, saw Cyrpus get bowled out for 89 and then bowl the visitors out for 61 - five of the wickets being run outs - to secure the 28 run win.

The series concluded yesterday with Cyprus again batting first, this time scoring 81-9. Samanthi Dunukedeniya then took 4-10 to dismiss the visitors for just 30 to complete a 31 run win and a 5-0 series sweep.
