The draw for the semi-final of the Irish National Cup has been released.

Ballyspallen will entertain two-times Irish Cup winners The Hills, while in the other game, Ardmore will host Glendermott at the Bleachgreen in the all-North West clash.

The games are to be played on Sunday July 19th.

No North-West side has ever won the competition, but Killyclooney, Drummond, Ardmore and Strabane have all reached the final.

The region will never have a better chance of rectifying that this year, although I'm sure The Hills will have some say in that.

Cricket Ireland CEO Sarah Keane and Tournament Director Chris Griffin completed the draw on Tuesday at the official 'sod turning' of the new Cricket Ireland National Cricket Centre.
