Knockharley climbed to the top of the First Team League table with a comfortable seven-wicket victory over Adamstown at Oak Hill.

The foundations were laid by Ahmed Kayani, whose outstanding figures of 5-19 helped dismiss Adamstown for just 104 in 33 overs.

Nithin Namburu top-scored with 25, while Syed Mehdi and Aabis Mirza claimed two wickets apiece.

Knockharley made light work of the chase, reaching 107-3 in 19.4 overs.

Brandon Kruger anchored the innings with an unbeaten 50 from 60 balls, including two fours and three sixes. He shared an opening stand of 67 with Sayed Zubair, who struck 36 from 32 balls.

Aryan Adelkar took all three wickets for Adamstown, finishing with 3-20.

North Kildare edged a tense two-wicket victory over Terenure at The Maws after a dramatic finish.

Terenure were bowled out for 166 in 40.1 overs despite a solid start from Mick Cotter, whose 46 from 55 balls included three sixes.

Cotter and Henry Dall (17) added 52 for the first wicket before Sid Nair contributed 25, but the innings lost momentum as wickets fell regularly.

Nurulain Boda claimed 3-38, while Nazmus Monon, Akhilesh Sharma and Adnan Ahmadzai each took two wickets.

North Kildare's chase was built around Yash Kalasannavar's fluent 58, featuring seven fours, and they appeared comfortable at 99-2.

However, Terenure fought back brilliantly, reducing them to 152-8 before North Kildare finally scrambled over the line with 11 balls to spare, despite three wickets for Henry Dall.

The Cork Harlequins versus The Hills match was abandoned.
