FOUR IN FOUR BALLS FOR WALLACE

There was a remarkable feat in Killyclooney’s Championship win over Letterkenny on Saturday. Seamer Jason Wallace finished the Donegal side’s innings by taking four wickets in four balls – a double hat-trick!

Wallace’s efforts helped Killyclooney to an eight-wicker win and they followed it up by beating one of the title favourites Glendermott on Sunday in an abbreviated ten overs bash.

Mark Gordon and Alfie Moan were the Killyclooney heroes in an exciting run chase that went down to the wire.

Killyclooney had been expected to struggle after a winter exodus of players but they have confounded the sceptics by their performances thus far and they will be hoping the run continues at one of the region’s friendliest clubs.
