Glendermott began their centenary celebrations in style with an emphatic 301-run win over Letterkenny at the Rectory.

With hindsight it perhaps wasn't the brightest move to insert the hosts after winning the toss.
Ben Mills raced out of the traps with a 44-ball 58 (9 fours, 2 sixes), as he and Craig Averill added 98 for the opening wicket.
The real fun began when Blayde Capell came to the middle, with the South African run machine launching the ball to all parts of the Waterside environs, clubbing 7 sixes and 7 fours in a 49 ball 89 as he and Averill added 133 for the second wicket.

Averill look destined for a century on his return to Glendermott as and Jake Montgomery added 66. However he fell for 86 (8 fours, 3 sixes).
Skipper Trevor Britton kept the rate going with a hard-hit unbeaten 51 from just 36 balls (5 fours, 3 sixes) as he added 70 with Alan Johnson (25) in a daunting total of 385 for 7.
There were three wickets apiece for Rammohan Goud Sama and Muhammad Khalid.

The chase never got going and the Donegal side were whittled out for just 84.
The wickets were shared with JJ O'Brien taking three and two apiece for Adam Boyd, Lewis Pearson and Britton.

On this showing, Glendermott's 100th could be one of their most memorable and successful.
They will certainly take some stopping.
