The North West have announced their groups for the T20 Premiership sides ahead of the start of the new season.

Holders Newbuildings have been drawn in Group B alongside league champions Brigade, who they beat in last year's decider, St Johnston and Strabane.

Group A has Senior Cup winners Donemana joined by Coleraine, Bready and Fox Lodge meaning quite a few local derbies.

The season will start on Saturday April 18th with double-heraders planned for the T20 competition.

The T20 Championship will feature nine teams with the eight regular sides being joined by a North West U19 side. Each will play each other once with the champions being the team that finishes top of the group.

The draw was also made for the Women's Division Two Senior Cup.

Donemana - who have reformed this season - are home to Newbuildings, Ballyspallen host Bready 2nd XI, Killyclooney have home advantage over Maghera, while Strabane have a bye into the semi-finals.

The draws for the NW Senior Men's and Women's cup will take place on Monday at 2:15pm on the NW Facebook page.
