Cregagh have announced the signing the signing of Peter Davison from North Down ahead of the start of the 2026 campaign.

Davison is a vastly experienced opening bowler who has played 202 times for the Comber side since his debut back in 2013. he has taken 182 wickets at 32.39, with a best-bowling effort of 4-21 against Lisburn in 2015, while his hughest score of 52 came against the same opponents last year.

"Peter has been a loyal servant to North Down over many years, earning a reputation for his commitment, experience at the highest level and consistent performances both with bat and ball," said Cregagh on their social media. "He brings all the qualities the club were looking for as we continue to strengthen our First XI squad for the upcoming campaign.

"His professionalism and passion for the game will be a fantastic addition both on and off the field and we’re excited to see the impact he will make in the Cregagh black and gold," the club added.
