Pembroke have announced the signing of overseas players for both their men's and women's sides.

The double winners have unveiled Addison Sheriff as their choice for the men's side, with the 19-year-old playing youth international cricket for Australia.

From Melbourne, he is a right-handed middle-order batsman and a more than useful right-arm medium pace bowler.

Pembroke Women, who finished runners-up in the league and cup to Merrion, have also gone to the Antipodes for their recruit.

23-year-old New Zealander Marama Downes is a right-handed batter, who also bowls right-arm medium-pace.
