County Galway are looking to build on their success of 2025 by the signing of West Indian all-rounder Jason Smith.
The National Cup holders will be boosted on and off the field with the arrival of the 41-year-old who has played for Barbados, Surrey and Sussex.
He is a respected coach having worked in that capacity in a variety of roles at Surrey, in Melbourne and as a National Sports Council Coach in Barbados.
"We look forward to Jason bringing some Caribbean flair as we look to build on last year's historic season," said a club spokesperson on social media.
