Harry Tector unselfishly gave up the chance of a first T20 international century in Dubai on Sunday as Ireland completed a second victory over Italy in their three-match series.

Tector scorched to a half-century in 34 balls and had an outside chance reaching three figures when he was on strike needing 12 from the final over.
Two boundaries took him to 96 but a leg-bye followed and George Dockrell smashed the final three balls to take his tally to 21 from only seven deliveries, and the Boys in Green to an impressive 190-5.
Wayne Madsen, the veteran Derbyshire batsman, gave Italy a sniff of an upset with a solid 61 but the Azzurri were always behind the required rate and were pegged to 166-4 as Ireland completed a 24-run win.
