Japan have lost again at the Under-19 World Cup after a heavy defeat at the hands of Australia today in Windhoek.
Batting first after captain Kazuma Kato-Stafford won the toss, Japan were able to bat out their 50 overs for the second consecutive game, but were well below par on 201-8. Hugo Tani-Kelly followed his century in their first game with an unbeaten 79.

This proved to be no match for a dominant Australian batting order though, who reached their target in just 29.1 overs to win by eight wickets. Will Malajczuk top scored with 102 from 55 balls with Nitesh Samuel contributing an unbeaten 60.
Japan play next on Thursday when they take on Ireland, whilst Australia will next be in action on Friday against Sri Lanka.
