Woodvale have confirmed that Ruhan Pretorius has signed a contract extension, committing his future to the club until the conclusion of the 2030 season.

The five-year deal means that the prolific South African born all-rounder will continue his legacy at Ballygomartin Road after a successful start to his career there.
“I am extremely excited about the opportunity to build something special at Woodvale over the coming years," said Pretorius in a statement issued by the club.
"My aim is to establish a strong and sustainable legacy, while developing a club culture that enables our young players to progress to a high standard of cricket.
"It is a great honour to be appointed Club Captain, and I am sincerely grateful to everyone involved in finalising this agreement.”
Woodvale added; “We are very happy to have secured Ruhan for the next five seasons.
"The role as both Club Captain and Head of Youth Coaching is pivotal in leading the development of Woodvale CC at an important time.”
