Merrion cruised to a six-wicket win over Rush at Kenure. Rush were bowled out for 120 in 32.5 overs after struggling to build partnerships. Isaac Bird top-scored with 18, while Jack McGee made 16 and Alex Neary 12, but extras were the biggest contributor with 29. Corne Botha was the standout performer for Merrion, taking 5 for 30 in 9.5 overs, including three maidens. Mikey O’Reilly claimed 2 for 26 and Sean Stanton 2 for 10 as Rush were kept firmly under pressure. Merrion made light work of the chase, reaching 121 for 4 in 20.4 overs. Rajwardhan Undre led the way with 45, while Stephen Doheny made 35. Nasir Totakhil picked up 2 for 19, but Merrion were always in control.

Cork County edged a thrilling contest against Rush, winning by seven runs after an absorbing game that swung back and forth throughout. The foundation of Cork's 247 was a magnificent innings from overseas professional Josh Hartill, who blasted 133 from just 111 balls. His superb knock featured 10 fours and eight sixes and proved the difference between the sides. Don Marakassery added 29 and Bakhtyar Nabi 22. Rush mounted a determined chase, with Nasir Totakhil top-scoring with 56, while Isaac Bird made 41 and Abi Taniwal contributed 36. The match remained in the balance until the closing stages, but Cork held their nerve under pressure. Bakhtyar Nabi claimed 3-27 as Rush were bowled out for 240 in the 49th over.

Railway Union claimed a convincing 106-run victory over Rush at Park Avenue after strong performances with both bat and ball. Hayden Hamilton top-scored with 61, while Rob O’Brien added 53 as Railway Union posted 240 all out in 47.2 overs. Bruce Whaley contributed 35 and Abhay Tipnis chipped in with 26 in a solid batting display. Jawid Oryakhil was the standout bowler for Rush with impressive figures of 4-24, while Nasir Totakhil took 2-33. Rush struggled to keep pace in reply and were bowled out for 134 in 39.5 overs. Isaac Bird made 45 and Nathan McGuire added 26, but the Railway Union attack proved too strong. Tipnis completed an excellent all-round display with 4-12, while Ashil Prakash claimed 3-23.

There's a new sheriff in town - the name's Addison - with the Australian overseas player showed why he's so highly rated by New South Wales. Of course it helps when you stride to the wicket at 151 for 3 with 25 overs still left thanks to Pembroke's star-studded line-up full of internationals. One of those Harry Tector made a run-a-ball 61 (8 fours, 1 six), while JJ Garth also impressed with 53 and Lorcan Tucker a rapid 42. Sheriff found the small confines of Kenure very much to his liking as he thumped 9 fours and 5 sixes in a 64-ball 106. Gavin Hoey continued the carnage as he smote five maximums in a 19-ball 41. A final total of 383 for 8 )38 fours, 14 sixes) meant not many of the Rush attack were checking their figures at the break. The chase was never on, with only Abidullah Taniwal's quickfire 44-ball 64 (5 fours, 5 sixes) the highlight of their modest final total of 185. The wickets were shared with two apiece for Byron Mcdonough 2-23, Addison Sherriff 2-28, Harry Tector 2-33, Gavin Hoey 2-48, and Luke Murray 2-51. What's even more frightening is that Pembroke were without three of their internationals - Barry McCarthy, Josh Little and Andrew Balbirnie!

It was a day for the North County debutants as Lochie Hardy and Husnain Maroof stole the show to give the Balrothery side bragging rights against Rush. Australian youth international Hardy thumped 12 fours and 5 sixes in an 87-ball 105 as the hosts posted 215. He was well supported by Alan Mathew (31) as the pair shared a fifth wicket stand of 70 in just ten overs. The tail certainly didn't wag though as the last five wickets added just 23, with Nathan McGuire talking four-34 and Gary Smith taking a brace. Another debutant Isaac Bird showed a glimpse of the form that saw him make 1000 runs in the NW, top-scoring with an even time 66 (9 fours, 2 sixes), but there was little else to cheer about in a disappointing Rush batting effort. Husnain Maroof claimed 4-15, while Hardy (3-29) and Mathew (2-16) completed fine all-round efforts in a 76-run win.
