Alice Walsh provided a useful late contribution of 21 not out, while Aadita Subramanya Ramnathpur was the most successful Rush bowler with three for 25. Cate Pedersen and Aoife Beggs then produced the decisive partnership in the reply. Pedersen finished unbeaten on 59 and Beggs made 55 not out as Rush triumphed despite Lucy Barry claiming two for 25.

North County pulled off a remarkable eight-wicket win over Clontarf in a Castle Avenue run-fest, chasing down 339 with 20 balls to spare. Clontarf looked in complete command after David Delany’s superb 172 powered them to 338 for 7. Delany dominated the innings, sharing a key stand with Seamus Lynch, who made 57, while Eoghan Delany added 42 and Fionn Hand 23. Lochie Hardy took 3 for 93 for County. But the visitors produced a stunning reply. Lochie Hardy set the tone with 44 before Suliman Safi struck a brilliant 111 to put North County firmly in the hunt. Jamie Grassi and John Devane then finished the job in style, both unbeaten on 78, as County raced to 339 for 2 in 46.4 overs.

Clontarf continued their impressive form in the Leinster Women's Premiership with a seven-wicket victory over Pembroke in a closely fought contest. Pembroke posted 138 for 7 from their 20 overs, with Laura Delany making an encouraging first appearance since her move from Leinster. The Ireland international struck 42 from 38 balls, including three boundaries, and shared a third-wicket partnership of 69 with Marama Downes, who contributed a brisk 30 from 26 deliveries. Hannah Lee was the pick of the Clontarf attack with figures of 2 for 20. Robyn Searle gave Clontarf's chase a solid platform with a run-a-ball 23 that included three fours, but Pembroke fought back to leave the game finely balanced. The decisive blow came in an unbroken fourth-wicket stand of 80 between Genevieve Morrissey and Rosie Neuman-Jones. Morrissey anchored the innings superbly with an unbeaten 54 from 52 balls, striking three fours, while Neuman-Jones finished 21 not out as Clontarf reached 141 for 3 with four balls to spare.

Malahide chased down 256 to defeat Clontarf by three wickets in an entertaining contest. Clontarf posted 255 all out in 49.3 overs, built around half-centuries from David Delany (64), Eoghan Delany (55) and captain Fionn Hand, whose explosive 54 came from just 29 balls and included four fours and four sixes. Seamus Lynch added 40, while James Newland claimed 3-44. Malahide's reply was anchored by a crucial second-wicket stand of 125 between Robbie Foulkes and Adam Doyle. Foulkes led the charge with a superb 91 from 99 balls, striking seven fours and three sixes, while Doyle contributed 49 with eight boundaries. Although Clontarf threatened a comeback, skipper Jeremy Martins held his nerve with an unbeaten 55 from 55 balls. Supported by Aaron Doyle's 21 and Mohit Sane's unbeaten 12, Malahide reached 257-7 with 28 balls to spare.

Clontarf cruised to an emphatic 81-run victory over The Hills after posting an imposing 186-2 from their 20 overs. The innings was built around a superb second-wicket partnership of 162 between opener Robyn Searle and Susan Lawless. Searle fell agonisingly short of a century, making 97 from 61 balls with eight fours and a six, while Lawless finished unbeaten on 43. The Hills never seriously threatened the target, with only Eve Meachen offering resistance with a 37-ball 43. Annabel Walsh claimed 2-21 as Clontarf completed a comfortable win.

Clontarf eased to a nine-wicket victory over North Kildare in Group D at Castle Avenue after a dominant all-round display. North Kildare struggled to build momentum and finished on 93-8 from their 20 overs, with Yash Kalasannavar top-scoring with 20. John McNally (2-7) and Liam Gilhooly (2-11) led an economical Clontarf bowling attack that kept the visitors under pressure throughout. The chase suffered an early setback when Seamus Lynch was dismissed for three, but that proved only a minor inconvenience. Sam Morgan took control with a superb unbeaten 70 from 40 balls, striking nine fours and two sixes. He shared an unbroken 92-run partnership in just 10 overs with opener Mitchell Thompson, who made a patient 20 not out, as Clontarf raced to a bloodless win in the 12th over.

Merrion claimed a 35-run DLS victory over Clontarf in a rain-affected Premier League clash at Castle Avenue. Merrion reached 150 for 3 from 25 overs before a lengthy interruption ended their innings. Swapnil Modgill anchored the effort with an unbeaten 62 from 67 balls, sharing half-century partnerships with Stephen Doheny and John Anderson, who finished 36 not out. Nawaz Khan was the pick of the Clontarf attack with 2-13. The revised target was set at a demanding 202 from 25 overs, and Clontarf's hopes were quickly dented by left-arm seamer Mikey O'Reilly. He ripped through the top order, removing Seamus Lynch, Mitchell Thompson, Sam Morgan and Fionn Hand in a decisive spell on his way to figures of 4-32. David Delany made 20, while a seventh-wicket stand of 62 between Eoghan Delany (33) and Karthik Joshi (37) restored some respectability, but Merrion remained comfortably in control throughout.

North County booked their place in the Leinster Senior Cup semi-finals with an emphatic eight-wicket DLS victory over Clontarf at Balrothery after a rain-delayed contest was reduced to 40 overs per side. Former North County player Fionn Hand led the Clontarf effort with a superb 80 from just 53 balls, striking seven fours and four sixes. Seamus Lynch contributed 29 and Eoghan Delany added 21 as the visitors posted 205-9. Lochie Hardy enjoyed an excellent all-round afternoon, claiming 3-38, while Sean Sludds chipped in with 2-56. County's chase got off to a flying start as Hardy and Suliman Safi dominated the bowling. The opening pair added 131 in only 15.2 overs, with Safi blasting 56 from 44 deliveries, including eight fours and a six. Hardy continued the assault, finishing unbeaten on 107 from 86 balls, a knock featuring 12 fours and six sixes. Although Hand claimed a consolation wicket, County never looked troubled. Hardy and captain Eddie Richardson (27 not out) shared an unbroken half-century partnership to steer the hosts to 207-2 in just 27 overs, sealing victory with 13 overs to spare.

Balbriggan fell eight runs short in their chase of Clontarf’s 180-6 with Fionn Hannd the visitors’ bowling star, taking four wickets, including top scorer Ruan Strauss who was lbw to the first ball of the last over for 38, which included seven fours. Sam Morgan hit 74 for Clontarf, at a strike rate of 217, with five fours and seven sixes before he was third out at the start of the 15th over with the total on 137. Clontarf still added 43 from the last five overs which ensured the win points.

Tom O’Connor scored an unbeaten century at Rathmines as Leinster beat Clontarf for the second time in two days to progress to the quarter-finals of the Irish Senior Cup. After winning their league clash at Castle Avenue on Saturday, Leinster again dominated, posting 277 and dismissing the visitors for 85 to win by 192 runs. O’Connor was unbeaten on 102 when the innings ended in the 46th over. He faced only 81 balls, hitting eight sixes and four fours. Tom Johnson (39), Reuben Newton (24) and Jai Moondra (29) contributed useful cameos but Leinster will be disappointed to have been bowled out 4.3 overs short of their 50. The Clontarf chase suffered an early blow when Seamus Lynch fell to Moondra’s third ball and the paceman proved almost impossible to get away as he took 2-4 from six overs. The other wickets were shared between Bilal Azhar (3-32) Mark Tonge (2-14) and man-of-the-match O’Connor (3-32).

Leinster gained a psychological edge ahead of Sunday’s Irish Cup clash with Clontarf after a five-wicket win at Castle Avenue. Clontarf looked in major trouble at 51 for 7 before a superb eighth-wicket partnership of 101 between Karthik Joshi and Luke Thomson rescued the innings. Joshi top-scored with 46, while Thomson added 44 as Clontarf recovered to 159 all out. Joey Carroll starred with the ball for Leinster, taking 3-11, while Mark Tonge and Jai Moondra also claimed three wickets each. Leinster’s chase suffered an immediate setback when Ruben Newton was bowled first ball by Fionn Hand. However, Tom Johnson’s 35 and Monil Patel’s 16 added 74 for the second wicket to steady the innings. Although Leinster slipped from 79 for 1 to 89 for 5, Saqib Bahadur’s unbeaten 46 and Joey Carroll’s 27 not out guided them to victory in 31 overs.

Pembroke edged into the second round of the Leinster Cricket Union Women’s Senior Cup with a dramatic four-run victory over Clontarf at Sydney Parade. A competitive Pembroke total of 133 for 7 was built around a solid 37 from Isobel Jennings, while Katie O'Toole impressed with the ball for Clontarf, taking 2 for 22. In reply, Clontarf fell agonisingly short on 129 for 9 despite strong efforts from overseas professional Robyn Searle, who made 41, and Genevieve Morrissey with 39. Pembroke held their nerve in the closing overs thanks to an excellent bowling display led by Maire Nicoll’s 3 for 17 and 2 for 19 from Orla Prendergast.

Clontarf edged a remarkable high-scoring thriller against Malahide by six wickets in a Leinster Senior Cup classic at Castle Avenue. In a rain-reduced 26-over contest, Malahide looked in complete control after piling up 216 for 5. Robbie Foulkes hammered 89 from 69 balls with nine fours and two sixes, sharing a blistering fourth-wicket partnership of 105 in only 56 balls with Head Coach Greg Ford, who smashed an unbeaten 63 from 35 deliveries. John McNally claimed three wickets for the hosts. Clontarf’s chase could hardly have begun worse when Seamus Lynch went first ball, but overseas professional Sam Morgan produced an innings for the ages. Morgan blasted a magnificent 136 from just 82 balls, smashing 11 fours and seven sixes to turn the game on its head. Even after his dismissal there was late drama, but skipper Fionn Hand (39 not out from 21 balls) and Kartik Joshi sealed victory off the penultimate delivery in a match that will live long in the memory.

Merrion claimed a hard-fought 17-run victory over Clontarf in the Leinster Women’s Premiership despite an unbeaten century stand in reply from the visitors. The foundation for Merrion’s success was laid by Irish international Leah Paul, who produced a classy innings of 80 from just 52 balls. The left-hander dominated the Merrion total of 170 for 8 with a fluent knock featuring 11 boundaries, combining timing and placement to keep the scoreboard moving throughout the innings. Lucy Barry and Sinead Thomson each picked up two wickets for Clontarf but struggled to contain Paul’s attacking strokeplay. Clontarf’s chase was built around an excellent unbeaten 82 from overseas professional Robyn Searle, whose 63-ball innings included 10 fours. She shared an opening stand of 50 with Christina Coulter Reilly and then added 103 for the second wicket alongside Genevieve Morrissey, who made 37 not out. However, despite losing only one wicket, the required acceleration never arrived and Clontarf closed on 153 for 1.

There was a real thriller at Castle Avenue where Pembroke held their nerve to win a last- ball thriller by one run. Chasing 144, a half century from Robyn Searle, and 22 apiece took them to the brink of victory with three needed from the final two balls. Anna Beale however dismissed Barry, then ran out Sinead Thomson as she tried for the second run that would have tied the game. Earlier, Eimear Mullen (35), Sarah Forbes (28) and Clare Shillington (21) were all in the runs in a Pembroke total of 143 for 7 - Katie O'Toole (2-22) the pick of the Clontarf bowlers.

Half centuries from Seamus Lynch and Andrew Delany propelled Clontarf to a hard-fought 53-run win over Railway Union at Castle Avenue. Lynch thumped 10 fours in a top score of 54, but from 99 for 1, the hosts lost their way and looked in trouble at 156 for 8 in the 29th over. Delany though battled to an unbeaten 52 (7 fours) sharing an unbroken 9th wicket stand of 64 with Liam Gilhooly (23*) as they staged a recovery to post 240 for 8. The Railway chase never really got going, but they still looked in with a life as top scorer Abhay Tipnis (71) and the dangerous Liam McCarthy (25) added 41 for the 6th wicket to give them a shout at 113 for 5. Fionn Hand bowled McCarthy to break the stand and with two wickets apiece for Cillian McDonnell, Nawaz Khan and Liam Gilhooly, the chase petered out, ending on 187 all out.

Sam Morgan starred as Clontarf brushed aside the challenge of a Civil Service side making their top flight return after an 82 year absence. The Australian overseas professional hit 12 fours and cleared the ropes twice in a 74-ball unbeaten 96 as he and Eoghan Delany (48*) added an unbroken 148 in 21 overs for the third wicket to make light of a 216 run target. Seamus Lynch (32) had set the tone for the chase, hitting six fours in a rapid 32. Earlier, new Clontarf skipper Fionn Hand struck with the first ball of the game on his way to 3-27 as CS slipped to 76 for 5. Zaman Safi clubbed 6 fours and 2 sixes in a 43-ball 52 as they rallied to 215. It looked competitive but wasn't. There were two wickets too for spinners Yash Bala and Cillian McDonnell in an impressive all-round effort by the Castle Avenue side.
