Kenzie Hall made it back-to-back centuries before Nathan McCombe produced the best bowling figures of the Premiership season as Bready demolished Strabane by 184 runs.

Hall followed his previous hundred against Coleraine with a superb 106 from 132 balls, striking 14 fours and two sixes. He shared an 82-run third-wicket stand with Josh van Heerden, whose brisk 34 helped Bready advance to 195 for 2.

A dramatic collapse followed, however, as seven wickets tumbled for just 12 runs. Ryan Gallagher caused the damage with an outstanding 5 for 30, removing Hall, captain Ryan Clarke, Cameron McClay and David Scanlon.

Late resistance from McCombe and Travis Faulkner rescued Bready. McCombe hit 23, including two sixes, while Faulkner finished unbeaten on 17 as the hosts recovered to post 246.

Strabane’s reply was then blown apart by McCombe. The spinner wreaked havoc with sensational figures of 7 for 41, the best return in this season’s Premiership, as wickets fell throughout the order.

Scanlon provided excellent support with 2 for 15, removing John Mooney and Allen Patterson in successive deliveries, while Charlie Downey claimed the remaining wicket.

Mooney’s 17 was Strabane’s top score as they were dismissed for only 62 in 17.1 overs, completing a comprehensive Bready victory.

Fox Lodge stayed firmly in the North West Premiership title race with a seven-wicket victory over defending champions Brigade, a result that may prove another damaging blow to the Beechgrove side’s hopes of retaining their crown.

Brigade were dismissed for 138 in 35 overs after struggling to build meaningful partnerships. Andy Britton top-scored with 41, while Scott Macbeth made 29, but Fox Lodge maintained control throughout. Adam Walker led the attack with 4 for 35, Levi Kerr claimed 3 for 16 and Swarnim Jha added 2 for 18.

Fox Lodge made a steady start to the chase through Charlie Simpson and Brian Allen, who shared an opening stand of 75. Simpson struck 45 from 56 balls, including seven fours and a six, while Allen made a patient 35.

Scott Macbeth briefly gave Brigade hope by removing Allen and Gayan Maneeshan, but Alastair Doherty ensured there would be no late drama. He finished unbeaten on 31 from 26 balls, hitting four fours and a six, as Fox Lodge reached 141 for 3 in 35.3 overs.

The win keeps Fox Lodge among the leading contenders as the campaign reaches halfway. Brigade’s defence is now under severe pressure, although last season’s late surge showed they should never be written off completely.

Donemana gained sweet revenge for last week's cup defeat at Coleraine with a commanding 117-run North West Premiership victory, inspired by a devastating six-wicket haul from Ireland international Andy McBrine.

Batting first, Donemana recovered from early wickets to post 203. Raymond Curry anchored the innings with a composed 57, while Azim Kazi added 25 and Gary McClintock struck a brisk 26. Billy Dougherty's valuable 27 helped lift the total beyond 200 after Gareth Burns had claimed 3 for 42, with Matthew Hutchinson, Scott Campbell and Louren Steenkamp all taking two wickets.

Any hopes Coleraine had of chasing the target quickly disappeared as McBrine produced a masterclass with the ball. The Ireland all-rounder ripped through the middle and lower order, finishing with outstanding figures of 6 for 18 from 6.4 overs – the standout performance in a ruthless Donemana display.

Skipper Gary McClintock gave McBrine the perfect platform with two early wickets, while Kazi chipped in with 2 for 13 as Coleraine were skittled for just 86.

Scott Campbell's 15 and Varun Chopra's 19 were the only notable contributions as wickets tumbled at regular intervals. McBrine removed Campbell, Chopra, Matthew Smyth, James Panek, Gareth Burns and Jacob Logan-Wilson to ensure Donemana emphatically avenged last week's cup disappointment and boosted their Premiership challenge ambitions.

Newbuildings maintained their position at the top of the table with a 157-run victory over bottom side St Johnston.

Batting first, the leaders piled up 365 for seven from their 50 overs, built around magnificent centuries from stand-in captain Ryan Hunter and Ross Dougherty. Hunter struck 116 from 110 balls, hitting 17 fours and a six, while Dougherty blasted 113 from only 79 deliveries, including 12 fours and five sixes.

The pair shared a decisive fourth-wicket partnership of 183 before Jared Wilson provided a late flourish, hammering an unbeaten 37 from just 16 balls with four sixes. Nathan Cole was the pick of the St Johnston attack, returning three for 33.

St Johnston made a promising start through Jack Macbeth, who compiled 56, while Shirzad added a brisk 29. Cole then battled to 44, but the chase gradually fell away against a disciplined Newbuildings attack.

Jared Wilson was the chief destroyer, claiming five for 20, with Gregory McFaul and Jason Dunn taking two wickets apiece. St Johnston were dismissed for 208.

The emphatic maximum-point win ensured Newbuildings remained firmly at the summit, while St Johnston’s difficult campaign continued at the foot of the table.

Newbuildings will travel to Fox Lodge for Sunday's cup semi-final full of confidence, but it won't be easy against a Fox Lodge side also on a high.
