Jack Robinson top-scored with a fluent 73 as the NCU Under-16s overwhelmed Munster by 243 runs at Belmont.

The NCU piled up 354 in 49.4 overs, recovering from the early loss of Felix McMillan to build relentless pressure through the middle order. Owen McMillan made 45 from 49 balls, while Vidhath Geddam struck 36 from just 29 deliveries, including three sixes.
Captain David Agnew added further impetus with 39 from 32 balls, before Callum Lowe and Robinson took the game away from Munster. Lowe’s 54 came from 62 balls and included two sixes, while Robinson’s excellent 73 from 62 deliveries featured six fours and two maximums.
Fintan McCarthy then supplied late acceleration with 31 from only 18 balls, helping NCU reach a formidable total despite Guneet Chaudhry’s 4 for 55 and Nikhil Kumar’s 3 for 67.
Munster never threatened in reply and were bowled out for 111 in 35 overs. Hridhaan Salian and Elliot Parkhill both claimed four wickets, Salian taking 4 for 30 and Parkhill 4 for 25, while David Agnew also chipped in as NCU completed a dominant all-round display.
Leinster completed a 76-run win over the North West at Sandy Bay after successfully defending 189.
Batting first, Leinster were in early trouble at 34 for 3, but Aadil Naizam steadied the innings with a patient 54 from 92 balls, hitting seven fours. Jan Dijkstra added 21 before Kernan produced another important hand, making 50 from 75 deliveries with five boundaries to guide the total towards respectability.
Eglinton's Tom Spratt was the pick of the North West attack with 4 for 35, while Roy McGerrigle claimed 2 for 30. Jacob Blair was especially economical, with the young Ballyspallen spinner returning 1 for 19 from his 10 overs.
The North West reply never gathered momentum as Shav Biju removed Ryan McClintock and Suyesh Kumar early. Alfie Moan, Olly Britton and Jacob Blair also fell cheaply as the innings slipped to 57 for 5.
Bready's Cameron McClay battled hard for an unbeaten 29 from 74 balls, but support was limited. Puri finished with excellent figures of 4 for 14, while Charlie Carolan, Biju and Oberji each struck twice as the North West were bowled out for 113.
