Austria have become the fifth team to score over 300 in a men's T20I after completing a 3-0 series whitewash against Hungary yesterday.
The first two games of the series both saw Austria dominate when batting second. On Saturday they kepy Hungary to 125-9 from their 20 overs before chasing down their target in 13.2 overs to win by eight wickets.
On Sunday morning, Hungary again batted first and scored 159-6 with captain Vinoth Ravindran scoring 65 from 35 balls. The visitors then gave a taste of what was to come in the afternoon game by chasing down their target in just 11.5 overs with just one wicket lost. Captain Karanbir Singh scored an unbeaten 85 from only 38 balls.
Austria finally got a chance to bat first in the final game of the series on Sunday afternoon after they won the toss, and they certainly made the most of it. Karanbir Singh led the way with 164 from 57 balls, the joint second highest individual score in men's T20Is.

Along with Abidullah Kotwa, the pair took the score from 180 to 286 in just five overs before Singh was the sixth wicket to fall with 13 balls still to come. The seventh wicket fell from the very next ball, but Kotwa managed to take the Austrian total to 322-7 in the final two overs, finishing the innings unbeaten on 93 from only 26 balls, including 12 sixes, which is the highest ever score by a number 7 batter in the format.
Kotwa was then the pick of the Austrian bowlers with 2-11, also taking two catches as Hungary were bowled out for 165, losing by 157 runs.
