It was a Magic Monday for North West schools cricket as Lisneal College completed a memorable regional double by lifting the Slemish Cup just hours after Foyle College's success in the Girls' Cup final.

After winning the toss at Glendermott, Lisneal elected to field and quickly took control through a disciplined bowling display that restricted Coleraine Grammar School to 84 for 7 from their 20 overs.
Corey was the standout performer, claiming excellent figures of 3 for 18 from his four-over spell during the crucial middle stages of the innings.

He was superbly supported by Jamie, who returned 1 for 8, while Jacob's impressive 2 for 12 ensured Coleraine never gained any real momentum.
Chasing 85 for victory, Lisneal produced a composed batting performance.
Skipper Caleb Bond led from the front with an outstanding unbeaten 44, anchoring the innings and guiding his side to 85 for 2 with four overs to spare. His mature knock ensured an eight-wicket victory and sparked jubilant celebrations.

North West President John Semple praised both schools, describing the final as a testament to the strength of schools cricket in the region.
Credit was also paid to coach Chris Wilson for his exceptional work developing cricket at Lisneal, while Glendermott Cricket Club and the multi-functional John Bratton were thanked for their excellent hosting and hospitality throughout the final.
