Fox Lodge booked their place in the cup semi-finals with a crushing 181-run victory over Bready after dominating both innings.

The foundation was laid by an excellent batting display that saw Fox Lodge post 263 for 6 from their 50 overs. Gayan Maneeshan provided early impetus with a fluent 60 from just 50 balls, striking seven fours and three sixes.

He shared a second-wicket stand of 56 with Charlie Simpson (18) before Jason Milligan took centre stage. Milligan's superb unbeaten 92 from 110 deliveries, featuring eight fours, was the backbone of the innings, while his 94-run partnership with Brian Allen, who made 42, put Fox Lodge firmly in control.

Jamie McIntyre added a brisk unbeaten 25 at the close.

Former Fox Lodge player Geeth Kumara claimed 3 for 36 and then top-scored with 25 in reply, but Bready offered little resistance.

Five batsmen were dismissed without scoring as Adam Walker (4-19), Levi Kerr (3-19) and Aaron Heywood (2-7) routed the visitors for just 82.

The emphatic win keeps Fox Lodge dreaming of a repeat of their 2022 Cup success.

Coleraine kept their hopes of a long-awaited cup triumph alive as they secured a 25-run victory over Ardmore to book their place in their second semi-final of the year.

The Bannsiders were indebted to overseas professional Louren Steenkamp, who anchored the innings with a composed 70 from 90 balls, striking three fours and three sixes. He received useful support from Patrick Carson (29) and Varun Chopra (26) as Coleraine posted 183 in 41.2 overs.

Sadiq Safi and Muhammad Edrees claimed three wickets apiece for Ardmore, while Conor Brolly and Conor King both took two.

Ardmore's reply never recovered from a disastrous start. Four of their top six batsmen managed a combined three runs, including overseas player Kasun, leaving the hosts with an uphill battle from the outset.

New signing Adam Chester launched a spirited counterattack, blasting 52 from 45 balls with six fours and two sixes, while captain Mark Chambers battled to an unbeaten 34.

However, the chase never seriously threatened Coleraine's total as Scott Campbell (3-28), James Wilson (2-13) and Stephen Hutchinson (2-23) shared the wickets. Ardmore's batting frailties again proved costly, while Coleraine march on dreaming of a second Senior Cup triumph, their last success having come back in 1986.

Donemana produced a stunning batting display to overwhelm Eglinton by eight wickets and book their place in the next round in emphatic fashion.

Eglinton looked well placed after posting 266 all out from 49.4 overs. Sri Lankan Dunith Jayathunga was outstanding, blasting 129 from 110 balls with 16 fours and five sixes.

He shared a partnership of 120 with Jamie Millar, who struck 56 from 67 deliveries, while Andy and Robbie Millar each contributed 20.

Replacement overseas professional Sangeeth Cooray was the pick of the Donemana attack with 4 for 33, while Willie McBrine and Melvin Deveraj claimed two wickets apiece.

Any thoughts of a competitive chase quickly disappeared as Donemana's openers launched a breathtaking assault.

Jamie Huey hammered 104 from just 78 balls, clearing the ropes 12 times and adding five fours in an opening stand of 213 with the in-form Luke Marillier.

Marillier continued his remarkable run of form, finishing unbeaten on 135 from 98 deliveries, striking 12 fours and 12 sixes as the holders raced to 268 for 2 in only 30.3 overs.

The victory, achieved with almost 20 overs to spare, underlined once again that there is something in Donemana's DNA that brings out their best in cup cricket, regardless of league form.

Newbuildings moved a step closer to another cup final appearance with a commanding 142-run victory over Strabane after piling up an imposing 327 for 5 from their 50 overs.

A solid platform was laid by Mark Hanna (15) and Jason Dunn (26), while Peat Salmon blasted 51 from just 41 balls, including seven sixes.

The decisive stand came in a superb fourth-wicket partnership of 125 between Ross Dougherty and Ryan Hunter. Dougherty hammered 78 from only 53 deliveries, striking seven fours and six sixes, while Hunter remained unbeaten on 109, his innings featuring 10 fours and four maximums.

Jared Wilson marked his return from Nordic duty with a lively 28 that included three sixes, while veteran Johnny 'Frank Sinatra' Thompson made yet another comeback appearance.

Strabane, missing several regulars, never seriously threatened despite a magnificent century from Mohammed Mohsin. He struck 100 from 85 balls, hitting 12 fours and five sixes, with Conor Graham contributing 27.

The wickets were shared around by the Newbuildings attack, with Ryan Hunter, Jason Dunn, Jared Wilson and Ross Hunter all claiming two apiece as Strabane were dismissed for 185 in 39.1 overs to leave Newbuildings dreams of a treble very much alive.
