Phoenix produced a dominant all-round display to defeat Rush by 40 runs after posting an imposing 171 for 3 in their 20 overs.
USA international Aditiba Chudasama starred with the bat, top-scoring with 75 from 53 balls, an innings featuring 10 fours and a six. She shared a match-defining second-wicket partnership of 119 with Siúin Woods, who struck 48 from 44 deliveries, including two fours and two sixes.
Rush's reply suffered an immediate setback when overseas player Cate Pedersen was run out without facing a ball. Although Ellie McGee kept her side in contention with an excellent 65 from 48 balls, including nine boundaries, the target always looked beyond reach.
Rebekah O'Donohoe finished unbeaten on 14, but Rush closed on 131 for 9. Chudasama completed a fine all-round performance with 2 for 27, while Darcey Dalwood claimed 2 for 23 as Phoenix secured a comfortable victory.
Balbriggan cruised to a comprehensive 10-wicket victory over an out-of-sorts Malahide in a one-sided encounter.
Malahide were bundled out for just 61 in 11.5 overs, as only Meg Thompson (14) and Sorcha O'Carolan Murphy (11) reached double figures. Lara Maritz and Courtney Gounden led the bowling effort, claiming two wickets apiece, while the Balbriggan attack maintained relentless pressure throughout the innings.
Any hopes of a Malahide fightback were quickly extinguished as Balbriggan raced to their target in just 5.2 overs without losing a wicket. Maritz blasted an unbeaten 30 from only 14 balls, while Gounden finished 28 not out from 19 deliveries.
Both batters struck three fours and a six in an unbroken opening partnership of 62 as Balbriggan completed an emphatic victory and secured the maximum points.
Clontarf continued their impressive form in the Leinster Women's Premiership with a seven-wicket victory over Pembroke in a closely fought contest.
Pembroke posted 138 for 7 from their 20 overs, with Laura Delany making an encouraging first appearance since her move from Leinster. The Ireland international struck 42 from 38 balls, including three boundaries, and shared a third-wicket partnership of 69 with Marama Downes, who contributed a brisk 30 from 26 deliveries. Hannah Lee was the pick of the Clontarf attack with figures of 2 for 20.
Robyn Searle gave Clontarf's chase a solid platform with a run-a-ball 23 that included three fours, but Pembroke fought back to leave the game finely balanced.
The decisive blow came in an unbroken fourth-wicket stand of 80 between Genevieve Morrissey and Rosie Neuman-Jones. Morrissey anchored the innings superbly with an unbeaten 54 from 52 balls, striking three fours, while Neuman-Jones finished 21 not out as Clontarf reached 141 for 3 with four balls to spare.
