Jersey will play in a third consecutive European regional final as they look to qualify for the 2028 Men's T20 World Cup, securing their place with a win over fellow Channel Islanders Guernsey at the weekend in Cyprus.
Guernsey captain Oliver Nightingale won the toss and chose to bat first at the Happy Valley ground. Opener Lucas Barker was out cheaply, but Josh Butler kept runs coming from the other end. Once he was joined by his captain, the pair added 66 runs for the fourth wicket before Butler was out for 50.
Nightingale was the next man out for 31, and his team finished their 20 overs on 139-5. Harrison Carlyon and Zak Tribe both took two wickets, with Tribe the least expensive, conceding only ten runs from his three overs.
Carlyon was out cheaply at the start of Jersey's reply, and whilst the runs were coming quickly, so were the wickets and when the fifth wicket fell during the eighth over, Jersey had scored 61.
Zak Tribe was the one who steadied the ship, adding 39 for the sixth wicket with Charlie Brennan, then adding an unbroken 40 for the seventh wicket to secure a four wicket win. Tribe was unbeaten with the top score of the game, 54 from 40 balls.

The next sub-regional event for any region has already begun in Botswana with the hosts being joined by Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mali, Rwanda and Sierra Leone for a place in the African regional final.
In other matches on the final day, Sweden beat France by 6 wickets to finish third, Austria won by 5 wickets in the 5th place play-off against Croatia, whilst Switzerland finished seventh thanks to a 3 wicket win over Malta.
