LISBURN WEAR PURPLE WITH PRIDE
Lisburn began their T20 campaign this week with a record-breaking win against Cliftonville Academy in the Lagan Valley Steels T20 Cup making the highest score in the tournament's 22 years.

Irish internationals Ross Adair and Ben Calitz both hit half centuries in their total of 283 for 6 in a convincing 122-run win.
It was a successful debut too for their new purple kit which will be worn by the Wallace Park club in the T20 Cup to promote and highlight their association with the Northern Ireland pancreatic cancer charity (NIPANC).
“The purple kit reflects Lisburn Cricket Club’s partnership with NIPANC and our commitment, as a community club, to supporting causes that matter deeply to our members and local families," said Chairman Jamie Mulholland.
"This is not a one-off gesture as throughout this year’s T20 series, and especially during our ‘Purple Out the Park’ Day on 4th July, we are proudly wearing purple. This will raise awareness of pancreatic cancer, support the vital work of NIPANC, and bring people together through cricket to make a lasting difference.”
