Instonians enjoyed a very productive and successful 2025 season capturing three major pieces of silverware - the Premier League as well as T20 success in the NCU and All-Ireland T20 cups.

They have added Irish international left-arm spinner Matthew Humphreys to their ranks, adding further quality to an already pretty formidable squad.

There are rumours that Neil Rock may be heading overseas to Hong Kong at some point, but for now the Shaws Bridge squad at are full strength.

"We are really excited for the season ahead at instonians," said skipper Nikolai Smith.

"We have the same squad with the addition of Matthew Humphreys returning to Shaws Bridge which everyone is really excited by.

"The club has undertaken a big push to improve our facilities which has created a great buzz amongst all teams and supporters.

"We look forward to watching some of our talented younger players continue to develop and push themselves into our First XI.

"With a settled squad we hope to continue to progress as a side on the previous few seasons while integrating more of our talented younger squad members."

It looks a recipe for success and with a quality professional in Shane Dadswell added to an aggressive brand of cricket, Instonians look like once again being the team to beat in the NCU.
