Former Irish international Jeremy Bray has been confirmed as the new Munster Cricket Pathway Manager.

The 52-year-old was the obvious candidate for the new role, designed to mould the next generation of cricketing talent in the region.
Bray, who was Head Coach of the Munster Reds, faced an uncertain future after Cricket Ireland axed the region from the 2026 interprovincial series, but this new role ensures that his talent and pedigree won't be wasted.
Cricket Ireland made the decision during the Autumn, but have yet to officially confirm Munster's absence.
Munster Heat will continue to operate in the Future Series designed primarily for players Under 23.
The experienced Bray, who has coached in various roles both domestically and internationally, was delighted at the news, telling the Munster Cricket website:
“I am incredibly excited to take on this role at such a landmark time for Munster Cricket.
"There is a tangible energy across the province right now, and my goal is to channel that into a world-class development system.
"I’ve always been passionate about identifying ‘raw’ talent and giving players the tools to reach international standards.
"We want to ensure that the next generation of Irish stars has a clear, high-performance road map right here in Munster.”
