NCU Under 13's took a two-nil lead to ensure at least a share of the spoils with their Leinster counterparts. Batting first, Leinster made 101 all out in the 30th over with only Leo Russell (36) getting to grips with the home side's bowling attack. Michael Girvin took 3 for 18, while Hridaan Salian was amongst the wickets again claiming 2 for 13. Openers Pranav Saran (20) and Owen McMillan got the chase off to a good start in a stand of 47. Cregagh batsman McMillan has been the star of the week with the bat, and the talented youngster top-scored again with 46 (3 fours, 1 six) adding 42 with Callum Lowe (13*) before being dismissed with the scores level. The teams meet again on Thursday in the third game of the series.

BELLA Armstrong and Rebecca Lowe’s record partnership led the Dragons to a seven wicket win in the Super Series50 interpro at Lisburn. The pair shared a third wicket stand of 221 as they easily chased down what looked like a challenging 275 target set by the Scorchers. Armstrong top-scored with a 120-ball 154 that included 22 fours and two maximums, while Irish Under-19 international Lowe, playing at her home club, hit nine fours in a splendid 88. Earlier, Louise Little had made 106, while Ireland captain Gaby Lewis scored 63. Little shared a century stand with Ava canning (30*), but they fell away losing four wickets for ten runs with Waringstown leg-spinner Cara Murray taking a five-wickets haul. Alice Tector was unable to resume her innings, having retired hurt on 35. The win gives the Dragons their first points of the campaign.
Scorchers beat Typhoons by 125 runs.
