Leinster finished the Festival on a winning note as they beat the NW B team by five wickets. The hosts made 91 for 9 with Harry Mowbray batting well in making an unbeaten 47. Aditya Sreenivas (3-7) and Patrick Woods (2-6) among the wicket takers. Leinster chased it down in the 23rd over, with their player of the week Stephen O'Leary again top-scoring with 22, while Brody Molins - son of former Ireland captain Jason - making 21 and Sai Vivek 14 not out.
North West lost to NCU by 50 runs

Evan Gawley was the NCU hero as he rescued his side from a precarious 88 for 7 to post a match winning 239 against the NW at Foyle. The Lisburn all-rounder thumped 11 fours and 7 sixes in a 90-run stand with Cregagh's Luke Duckett (29). Tyler Faulkner (3-29) and Jake Crumley (2-33) the best with the ball. Karthik Shukla (71) top-scored for the NW, but they fell short on 189.

In the other game, Leinster proved too strong for the North West's B side with a seven wicket win, Stephen O'Leary 3-9, Vibhav Aravind 3-6, and Aditya Sreenivas 2-18 all did well as they restricted the hosts to 94. Mithil Balamurugan (24*) and Stephen O' Leary (21*), shared a half century stand to ensure a comfortable win, while there were runs too for Devam Koradia (20). In Tuesday's games the B team face the NCU, while Leinster take on the NW first string.

The Under 13 Festival got underway in the North West with the host's A-team just losing out by 13 runs against tournament favourites NCU. The visitors made a strong start to reach 80 for 2 with runs for Owen McMillan (40) and Callum Lowe (36). The NW came back strongly with three wickets for Harry Coyle and Tyler Faulkner, and two for Ben Pollock as NCU were bowled out for 134. The NW innings followed a similar pattern as Eglinton's Harry Coyle (38) and Zac Loughlin (20) got them into a strong position with a half century stand. Freddie Robinson (3-15) and Callum Lowe (2-8) proved the NCU match winners in a tense chase, while three run outs didn't help the NW side who battled well throughout.

NCU Under 13's took a two-nil lead to ensure at least a share of the spoils with their Leinster counterparts. Batting first, Leinster made 101 all out in the 30th over with only Leo Russell (36) getting to grips with the home side's bowling attack. Michael Girvin took 3 for 18, while Hridaan Salian was amongst the wickets again claiming 2 for 13. Openers Pranav Saran (20) and Owen McMillan got the chase off to a good start in a stand of 47. Cregagh batsman McMillan has been the star of the week with the bat, and the talented youngster top-scored again with 46 (3 fours, 1 six) adding 42 with Callum Lowe (13*) before being dismissed with the scores level. The teams meet again on Thursday in the third game of the series.
Cricket Leinster lost to NCU by 70 runs.
