Coleraine lost to Bready by 6 runs

Bready stay top but were given a real scare by Coleraine who pushed them all the way in a really tight contest. Millie Spence top-scored with 60 from just 44 balls (5 fours, 2 sixes) sharing an opening stand of 98 with Lucy McGranaghan, who made 49 in a Bready total of 138 for 3. Connie Block cleared the ropes three times in a 27-ball 39 as she and Amy Caulfield (26) put on 72 for the second wicket. At 89 for 1 in the 11th over, Coleraine were strong favourites, but once Sophie Hamilton dismissed Block, and Millie Spence (2-25) accounted for Caulfield, the game changed. Bready stopped conceding extras - 41 in total - and that was crucial in the final stages as they eked out a six-run win.
NWCU Women
Fox Lodge beat Strabane by 9 wickets
Ballymagorry, 28 July.


Fox Lodge stay right on the heels of Bready after a convincing 9-wicket win at home to Strabane. The Red Caps were bowled out for 94 with Abaigh Gillespie making 18 and 15 apiece for Nicola Mullen and Abbey-Gale McGarrigle. The Fox Lodge bowlers stuck to their task well with two wickets apiece for Mollie Devine, Jessica McClean and Tanisha Hussain. The chase was all over in the 11th over as Sarah Black hit 5 fours and 2 sixes in a 29-ball unbeaten 48 adding 81 in eight overs with Ella Wasson (33 ( 3 fours, 1 six).

Bonds Glen beat Eglinton by 22 runs on DLS
Bonds Glen, 28 July.



Bonds Glen are third after beating Eglinton by 22 runs on DLS. Rihanna Young top-scored with 50 (5 fours) sharing an opening stand of 78 in 11 overs with Emily (25). The Bee Gees ended on 147 for 5 - two wickets for Rea Moore. The chase was always a losing battle for the villagers despite 26 from Rosie McHugh - two wickets for Steph Wilkinson and Rihanna Young - it's been quite a 24 hours for Rihanna who took four wickets including a hat-trick yesterday, and a half century today, Certainly one to watch.
Bonds Glen beat Fox Lodge by 3 wkts

Leaders Fox Lodge returned to the scene of their Eric Cooke triumph but were beaten by a Divan Postumus inspired Bonds Glen. The Foxies made 204 for 9 in a rain-abbreviated 46 overs with Jason Milligan making a half century, and 20s for Johnny Robinson, Luke Hayes and Gayan Maneeshan. There were three wickets apiece for Posthumus and Mark Robinson. It looked as if Fox Lodge would claim the points as the Bee Gees were at 112 for 5 in the chase with Johnny Haslett making 30. Enter stage left Posthumus who shepherded the late middle-order brilliantly on his way to an unbeaten 115 from 95 balls (15 fours, 5 sixes) to seal a three-wicket win.
Burndennett beat St Johnston by 115 runs

St Johnston weren't able to take advantage of Fox Lodge's slip-up as Burndennett gained their first win of the season with a 115-run win over the Donegal side. The hosts racked up 350 for 9 with half centuries for Rahmatullah and Marty Mehaffey, as well as 40's for Suliman Safi, Eddie McGettigan and Corey Roulston - three wickets for Nathan Cole and Scott Devenney. Cole led the Saints chase with a hard-hit 67 (5 fours, 5 sixes), while there was also a fluent 54 from Barry Scott (5 fours, 5 sixes), but in truth they never threatened the mammoth target - all out for 235 in the 42nd over.
Bonds Glen lost to Killyclooney by 80 runs (DLS)

Killyclooney made it two wins in two days with an 80-run (DLS) win at Bonds Glen. Skipper Kenzie Hall returned to form with a brilliant 112 from 107 balls (10 fours, 7 sixes) as his side posted 249 for 8 in a slightly rain-curtailed innings of 47 overs. He received excellent support from Timmy Dougherty 65 (7 fours, 3 sixes) as the pair shared a fourth wicket stand of 115. Divan Posthumus (3-15) and Dharm Singh (3-28) each picked up three wickets. Matthew Campbell ripped into the Bee Gees top-order going on to take a five-wicket haul, with Killyclooney's march to the points only held up by a sixth wicket stand of 70 between Divan Posthumus - whose 62-ball 81 included 7 fours and 5 sixes - and Adam Thompson (20). There were two wickets apiece also for Aron Visser and Alfie Moan in a fine all-round effort by the Tyrone side.
St Johnston beat Bonds Glen by 36 runs

St Johnston kept alive their promotion hopes with a 36-run win over Bonds Glen at The Boathole in a game reduced to 35 overs. St Johnston made 148 with Barry Scott making 31, David Lapsley 27 and Josh Handsadale 24 in a total of 148. The Bee Gees bowlers were all in the wickets with three apiece for Dharm Singh and Mark Robinson, and a brace apiece for Sam Haslett and Divan Posthumus. The chase began well with runs for John Long (39) and David Robinson (27) and at 85 for 1 in the 20th over it looked as if an way win was on the cards. The wheels though came off with three wickets each for Nathan Cole, Graeme McCarter and David Lapsley in a comeback win.
Killyclooney beat Burndennett by 177 runs

Killyclooney were the biggest winners of the day as they thumped Burndennett by 177 runs. Andrew Neil - who top-scored with 69 not out (5 fours, 7 sixes), shared a fourth wicket century stand with Tim Dougherty (38). Earlier overseas professional Aron Visser made 64 (7 fours, 2 sixes) putting on 115 for the second wicket with Alfie Moan (37), while there were runs too for Andy Nicholl (41) in a total of 283 for 5. Burndennett's reply never really got going with only Niall McDonnell (25) and Rahmatullah Sahaq (22) getting past 20 as they were bundled out for 106 - three wickets for Timmy Dougherty, and two apiece for Jason Wallace, Alfie Moan and Matthew Campbell in the maximum points win.
Glendermott beat Ballyspallen by 99 runs

Glendermott got the better of Ballyspallen by 99 runs in a dress rehearsal ahead of next week's Sammy Jeffrey final at The Rectory. Ben Mills was the star of the show for Glendermott as he top-scored with 36 and followed it up with four wickets. There were runs too for Jason Lynch (34) and Ryan Nolan (33) in their 177 for 8 in a game reduced to 40 overs. Stuart Kennedy, Isaac Bird and Dylan McElwee all picked up two wickets. Ballyspallen's reply never got going as they were bundled out for 78 - Kyle Morrow making 20. Mills picked up for 4 for 6 and there were two wickets for Todd Killen in the comprehensive win that means Fox Lodge will be even stronger title favourites despite having the weekend off.

Fox Lodge extended their lead at the top of the table with a maximum point win over promotion rivals Ballyspallen. Batting first, Ballyspallen were bundled out for only 106 - Graham Kennedy top-scoring with 27 and Isaac Bird making 24. The wickets were shared with Jason Milligan taking three and two apiece for Levi Kerr and Adam Walker. The chase was all about in-form Ali Doherty, who hit 10 fours and 4 sixes in a 47-ball unbeaten 77, sharing stands of 51 with Charlie Simpson and an unbroken 56 in six overs with Gayan Maneeshan.
Burndennett lost to Glendermott by 9 wickets

Glendermott made light work chasing 212 to win by 9 wickets at Burndennett. Craig Doherty clubbed 8 fours and 6 sixes in a top score of 84, sharing an opening stand of 146 with Ben Mills, whose unbeaten 77 included 8 fours and four sixes. Mills and Jake Montogmery ensured maximum points with a second wicket partnership of 57. The home side's 212 owed much to Rahmatullah's 57 (8 fours, 1 six), and a rapid 44 from Niall McDonnell (3 fours, 4 sixes). Ben Mills took four wickets and Curtis Ross three in a fine bowling effort.
Bonds Glen beat Burndennett by 58 runs

Divan Posthumus was the difference in the sides as his hard-hit century propelled the Bee Gees to a 58-run win over Burndennett. The South African hit 107 from just 66 balls (11 fours, 6 sixes) in their total of 236. There were runs too for Johnny Haslett (31) and John Long (26). The chase was always lagging behind with no fewer than four players making 23 - Conan and Galvin Pollock, Paul Murphy and Martin Mehaffey - and one 22 - Andy Barr in a total of 178. Dharm Singh may be enduring a horror run with the bat, but he claimed three wickets, while there were two apiece for Kyle Moore and Stevie Dunn in a welcome win.
Ballyspallen lost to St Johnston by 12 runs (DLS)

St Johnston kept alive their promotion hopes as they beat rivals Ballyspallen by 12 runs in a tight contest at Bridge Park. Josh Handsadale's 41 and 25 from David Anthony took the Saints to 138 - four wickets apiece for Stephen Kennedy and Isaac Bird. It didn't look enough but it was as skipper Anthony claimed six wickets and Michael Rankin two as the home side were bowled out for 127 - 20s for Isaac Bird, Graham Kennedy and James O'Brien.
Glendermott lost to Fox Lodge by 102 runs

Gayan Maneeshan's century and six wickets for Levi Kerr ensured Fox Lodge's place at the summit of the Championship. Ali Doherty hit five fours in a rapid 24 at the start of the Fox Lodge innings, but thereafter it was the Gayan show as he made 103 (9 fours, 4 sixes) out of the Foxies 182. Curtis Ross took three wickets, while there were two apiece for Ben Mills and Adam Boyd. Glendermott's reply was soon in tatters with only Craig Doherty's 22 offering anything, Kerr had the excellent analysis of 6 for 14 while Adam Walker picked up two wickets also in the maximum point win as the Rectory side were bundled out for 80.
St Johnston lost to Fox Lodge by 4 wickets.

Fox Lodge top the table after a hard-fought four-wicket win at St Johnston. Barry Scott (40) and David Lapsley's 34 helped the Saints post a competitive 189 for nine. Gayan Maneeshan was in the runs again with 73 (11 fours, 1 six) adding 72 for the fourth wicket with Brian Allen (22). Jonny Robinson (32*) and Ivan McNeill (25) then added 49 in a crucial stand that all but sealed the win despite the best efforts of David Anthony (3-20) and Nathan Cole (2-17).
Killyclooney lost to Ballyspallen by 2 wickets.

Stuart Kennedy was the Ballyspallen hero as his unbeaten 85 (5 fours, 7 sixes) helped Spallen recover from 95 for seven to chase 175 at Killyclooney. Giles Moan's five wickets had put the hosts in a strong position but Kennedy's hard-hit knock keeps Ballyspallen right in the title contention. Arun Visser had hit 5 fours and 6 sixes in his 69, while Kenzie Hall conserved energy by hitting ten fours in 41. Isaac Bird claimed five wickets, while there were three for Pushpender Singh and two for Graham Kennedy.
Bonds Glen beat Glendermott by 78 runs.

It was the Divan Posthumus show at Bonds Glen as the South African overseas player hit 17 fours and 7 sixes in a brilliant 148 as Bonds Glen recovered from losing two wickets in the first over to make 327 for seven. Posthumus added 218 for the fourth wicket with Sam Haslett (68), while Stephen Dunn added a late 27. Posthumus and Dunn were also among the wickets as Glendermott were kept to 249 - Ben Mills making 49, and 30's for Jake Montgomery, Alan Johnson and Curtis Ross.
Bonds Glen lost to Ballyspallen by 10 wickets.

Ballyspallen moved to second place in the Championship table with a 10-wicket demolition of Bonds Glen. Johnny Haslett's 14 was the best of the Bee Gees 57 all out with Pushpender Singh taking five wickets and two apiece for Graham Kennedy and Michael O'Brien. The target was knocked off with the minimum of fuss in just 34 balls with Isaac Bird hitting 8 fours and a six in a 24 ball unbeaten 45.

St Johnston's title hopes suffered a blow as their understrength side was bowled out for just 75 at Glendermott. Skipper David Anthony's 23 was the best of their batting, while Adam Boyd collected three wickets, and there were two apiece for Ben Mills, Ted Britton and Curtis Ross. Ryan McAuley struck two early blows in the chase, but Craig Doherty thumped six fours and five sixes in a 48-ball 61 not out, adding an unbroken 68 with Ted Britton as they passed their modest target in 14 overs.

Ballyspallen won again with a convincing seven-wicket win at home to Burndennett. Niall McDonnell's 36 (3 fours, 1 six) was the best of the Tyrone side's 124 with Conan Pollock chipping in with 23. Isaac Bird claimed three wickets, while there were two apiece for Graham Kennedy and Pushpender Singh. Derek Curry took two wickets, including Isaac Bird for 33, but the result was never in doubt. A third wicket stand of 74 between top-scorer Kyle Morrow who made 49 (8 fours, 1 six) and Kagiso Rapulana (27*) ensured a straightforward win.
Fox Lodge beat Killyclooney by 6 wickets

Fox Lodge kept themselves in the promotion hunt with a fine six-wicket win at home to Killyclooney. Seven Killyclooney players reached double figures but Giles Moan's 19 the best as they failed to kick on. Jason Milligan took four wickets, while there were two apiece for Aaron Heywood and Levi Kerr. Ali Doherty hit four sixes in a rapid 35, while there were runs too for Gayan Maneeshan who top-scored with a 42-ball unbeaten 52 (5 fours, 3 sixes) and Charlie Simpson (20).

Michael Rankin's five wickets haul saw him dubbed 'thee full-toss king' by inspirational skipper David Anthony who used the all-rounder to inspire the Saints to a nine-wicket win at Killyclooney in a game reduced to 42 overs. The home side could only muster 87, with South African professional Aron Visser making more than half those in an unbeaten 47 (9 fours) - three wickets also for Nathan Cole. Jack Macbeth hit 8 fours in a 25-ball 36, and unbeaten 20's from Barry Scott and Josh Hansadale ensured a full points win that keeps St Johnston clear at the top of the Championship.
Burndennett lost to Fox Lodge by 135 runs.

Gayan Maneeshan was in the runs again as the Sri Lankan made another unbeaten century in Fox Lodge's 135-run at Burndennett. He hit 15 fours and 6 sixes in a his 144 not out from 117 balls in a Fox Lodge total of 364 for 5. The tone was set by Travis Nicholl clubbing a 24-ball 65, while there were runs too for Johnny Heywood (55), Luke Hayes (37*), and Ali Doherty. Skipper Conan Pollock made a defiant 81 from 62 balls (8 fours, 3 sixes) and Andrew Barr 35 as the home side made 229 in reply. Doherty took three wickets, while there were two apiece for Jamie McIntyre and Luke Hayes in the comprehensive win.

The rain again won the day as Bonds Glen and Ballyspallen couldn't get their second innings started at Kildoag Road. Sam Haslett top-scored with 75 (12 fours, 1 six), while Divan Posthumus made a 19-ball 38 (3 fours, 3 sixes), and Stevie Dunn 22 in their 209. Dylan McElhinney claimed 3 for 12, while there were two wickets for Kasigo Rapulana.

A fourth wicket stand of 148 between the old firm of Jason Milligan and Brian Allen was the foundations for Fox Lodge's successful 144-run win over Bonds Glen, Milligan hit 5 fours and 4 sixes in a top score of 71, while 'BA' made 61 in a home side total of 278 for 9 - runs too for Gayan Maneeshan (39), Ali Doherty (21) and Travis Nicholl(20). Kyle Moore took four wickets while there were two apiece for Divan Posthumus and Mark Robinson. The Bee Gees chase never got going as former skipper Aaron Heywood took four wickets while there were two apiece for McIntyre and Levi Kerr.

St Johnston survived a late wobble with the finishing line in sight as they beat Burndennett by four wickets to make it two wins from two in the Championship. A fine bowling display had restricted Burndennett to 111 despite early runs for Andy Barr (31) and Niall McDonnell. Teenagers Ryan McAuley (4-19),and Sam Macbeth (3-11) did the damage, with skipper David Anthony taking 2-0. Michael Rankin (48*) and Jack Macbeth (22) looked to be leading a serene chase, before four quick wickets by Ramatullah (4-25) had a few of the lower order curtailing their lap and scrambling for the pads. In the end a four wickets win and a spot at the top of the table for the Donegal side.
Glendermott beat Killyclooney by 37 runs

Ben Mills played a starring all-round role as Glendermott got their promotion campaign up and running with a hard-fought 37-run win over Killyclooney in a low scoring game at The Rectory. 'Big Ben' made 58 (7 fours, 1 six) of the Rectory side's 116 with wickets for Kenzie Hall (4-36), Matthew Campbell (3-22), and Aron Visser (2-16), The home side would have been worried at another modest total, but their bowlers came to the party as Ryan Nolan (3-20) and skipper Alan Johnson (2-22) made early inroads, before Mills ran through the middle and lower order to claim 4 for 17 and the welcome points,

Closest game of the day was at Bonds Glen were the home side would have been relatively pleased at the halfway stage having posted 221 for 6 - runs for Davy Robinson (47*), Johnny Haslett (46), Sam Haslett (37), and Dharm Singh (20). The most successful of the Saints attack were Sam Macbeth and Michael Rankin who each took two wickets. Wickets for Divan Posthumus and Dharm Singh looked to have the Bee Gees on top, but Graeme McCarter made an unbeaten 72 (9 fours, 2 sixes), sharing half century stands with Matthew Orr (31) and Deepak Reddy as the Donegal side prevailed by three wickets.

Killyclooney were the highest scorers of the day in the Championship with new captain Kenzie Hall hitting 113 (10 fours, 3 sixes) as he and William Finlay (51) took full advantage of loose bowling and dropped catches in an opening stand of 105. There were runs too for Timmy Dougherty (34) and Andrew Neil (32*) as they posted 284 for 6 without a significant contribution from their new pro Aron Visser. He went to a fine caught and bowled by Corey Roulston (2-35), while Niall McDonnell also claimed a brace. The home side's reply never got any momentum as Matthew Campbell claimed four wickets, while there were two apiece for Timmy Dougherty and Alfie Moan. Corey Roulston (28*) and Derek Curry (20) the best of their 144 all out.
Ballyspallen beat Glendermott by 61 runs.

Glendermott were given the bird at Ballyspallen as the Bridge Park side's Irish passport holding New Zealander Isaac Bird showed his quality on debut. He top-scored with a 36-ball 41 (6 fours, 2 sixes) in a modest total of 122. There were four wickets for Glendermott skipper Alan Johnson, three for youngster JJ O'Brien, and two for ben Mills. The chase never got going as three early wickets for Michael O'Brien was followed by four for Bird and two for skipper Stephen Kennedy as Glendermott were bowled out for 61.
