Mujeeb Rahman starred against his old club taking three wickets and hitting an unbeaten 30 in a four-wicket win for the Bleachgreen side against Brigade. The Beechgrove side started brightly with James Smallwoods (28) adding 42 for the first wicket with Mark Hanna (18). Rahman and George Brolly each took three wickets and it took a late 26 from JP Millar to get Brigade up to 150. Nick Gray and Mo Hussain took two wickets apiece to leave the tie in the balance, but Phil Patterson (38*) and Mujeeb (30*) got Ardmore safely into Monday's semi-final draw.
Round 2: Fox Lodge beat Eglinton by 2 wickets

Fox Lodge 135-8 (28.5 overs: Jonathan Heywood 49, J Heywood 32; R Wylie 3-36, C Smith 2-20, T Averill 2-26)
The two Johnnies (Heywood) were in the runs as Fox Lodge edged out Eglinton by two wickets at Ballymagorry. Skipper Jack Martin made 36 and Ross McLaughlin 27 in the villagers total of 133. Levi Kerr claimed four wickets, while there were two wickets apiece for Jordan Cochrane and Ivan McNeill. The Heywoods made 49 and 32 in a third wicket stand of 69, and at 102 for 2 looked to be easing to the win. However, five wickets fell in the space of five runs to set up a tense finale, with the hosts prevailing. Richard Wylie took three wickets, while there were two apiece for Callum Smith and Tyler Averill.
Round 2: Woodvale beat Killyclooney by 46 runs

Woodvale 154 (36.4 overs: J Rose 49; J Wallace 4-28, M Gordon 2-21)
Killyclooney 108 (30.4 overs: G Moan 24, R McMorris 22; P Robinson 4-10, A Shetty 4-13)
Ashwin Shetty and Paul Robinson each took four wickets (Ron Bell)
Woodvale recovered from 54 for 7 to eventually add a further 100 and that was to prove more than enough to beat Killyclooney. James Rose made a gritty 49 in a match-defining 8th wicket stand of 58 with Ross Copeland (18). Jason Wallace took four wickets, while Mark Gordon claimed two. Giles Moan made 24 and Richard McMorris 22 in the reply, but four wickets apiece for Paul Robinson and Ashwin Shetty sealed the 46-run win and the Ballygomartin side will be ensured of a home draw against more North West opposition in the semi-final.
North Down lost to Donemana by 19 runs

North Down 184 (37 overs: D Parker 51, A Haire 34, R McGerrigle 3-26, G Neely 3-31, R McClintock 2-30)
Graham Boyd's 70 ensured four-times winners Donemana reached the semi-final with a 19-run win at North Down. Boyd's 60-ball knock included 3 fours and 4 sixes, sharing a fifth wicket stand of 87 in 13 overs with Dean Mehaffey (31), while Ryan McClintock also made 30 in a total of 203. The wickets were shared with three apiece for Luke Crothers and Ryan Haire, plus two for younger sibling Andrew. Drew Parker's 51 (6 fours) kept the Comber side in the hunt, while Andrew Haire's 34 gave North Down hope, but three wickets apiece for Roy McGerrigle and Gary Neely, plus a brace for McClintock ensured the win.

Last game of the day to finish was at Stormont where Brigade made it six NW sides in the last eight as they beat CSNI by 47 runs (DLS). Impressive teenager James Smallwoods hit 9 fours in a top score of 64 from 55 balls, as he and Mark Hanna - who hit 8 fours in his 61 - shared an opening partnership of 128 approaching the halfway stage. Andrew Baggley (43*) and Ben Johnston (27*) added late runs as Brigade's innings ended on 234 for four in 38 overs. CSNI struggled to 101 for six in 17 overs when rain halted proceedings again. The adjusted target was 183 in 22 overs, with the hosts managing another 34 runs in the five overs.
Round 1: Eglinton beat Muckamore 2-0 in a bowl-out

Callum Smith and Dylan McElhatton struck twice as Eglinton won the bowl-out to progress to the last eight. The game had been halted several times as Muckamore reached 122 for 8 - Luke Allen (38), Sam Magee (31) and Glenn Ormiston (27) in the runs. Richard Wylie (3-13) and Kyle Lamrock (2-15) best with the ball before the game was abandoned and the dreaded bowl-out ensued.
Round 1: Bready lost to North Down by 7 wickets (DLS)

Ryan Clarke scored a half century (CricketEurope)
North Down were the second NCU side to make it through to the quarter-finals as they chased a target of 110 in 15 overs to win by seven wickets and seven balls to spare at Bready. Tom Crothers (37*) and Gavin Anderson (25) added a decisive 60 for the third wicket after Mo Aahil (23) had given the Comber side a decent start. Earlier Ryan Clarke had struck seven fours and a six in Bready's 196 for seven. There were runs too for Aaron Cooke who hit three sixes in his unbeaten 43, while Swarnim Jha cleared the ropes twice in his 25. North Down's bowlers shared the wickets with two apiece for Jaxon Dines, Jacob McClure Dalzell and Mohammed Aahil.

Aneesh Anilkumar and Bobby Brolly shared a century stand (CricketEurope)
A century stand between Aneesh Anilkumar and Bobby Brolly ensured Ardmore progressed thanks to a six wickets win at Cliftonville Academy. Adam Kelso's 28 was the best of the home side's 145 - two wickets each for George Brolly, Suresh Kalisetty, and Bobby Brolly. Facing an adjusted target of 126 in 31 overs, Amneesh hit 50 from 48 balls (7 fours, 1 six), while Brolly just missed out on his fifty - trapped lbw one short by David Steen (2-21). Still, their 111 stand was decisive in a morale boosting win for the Bleachgreen side.

Holders Lisburn were knocked out by just 13 runs in a tense affair at Fox Lodge. The hosts recovered from 88 for six to post 181 for 8. Levi Kerr thumped four sixes and three fours in a 27-ball 44 sharing a 7th wicket stand of 70 with Jamie McIntyre (28), while there were runs too for Aaron Heywood (33), and Adam Boyd (23). Richard Simpson (3-33) was the pick of the Lisburn attack. Johnny Waite clubbed five sixes in a 24-ball 44 to get the chase off to a flier, but the Foxes pulled it back with thre wickets for Adam Boyd, and two apiece for Aaron Heywood and Ramey Harpur, David Simpson (21*) edged Lisburn closer but Fox Lodge prevailed to go into the last eight.

Killyclooney pulled off something of a surprise result at Instonians, where they defended 145 thanks to five wickets from left-armer Mark Gordon, and two wickets apiece for the Moans. Frederic Pearson almost pulled it out of the fire with a hard-hit half century (7 fours, 1 six), but Killyclooney prevailed. Earlier Gordon (34) and Alfie Moan (32) did well to get Killyclooney to 145 - five wickets for Hridhaan Salian. It didn't look as if it would be enough but it was!
Round 1: Waringstown lost to Donemana by 40 runs (DLS)

Graham Boyd scored a century (CricketEurope)
Graham Boyd's century helped Donemana recover from 19 for four and 110 for 9 to post 222 and beat Waringstown at The Lawn. Boydo hit 9 fours and 4 sixes in his 88-ball ton, adding a competition record 112 for the tenth wicket with Chris Neely (18). Off-spinner Neely then claimed five wickets to all but settle the game. James Mitchell made 51, Ivan Hamill (32) and Ross Waite (29) as the hosts were bowled out for 176 - Donemana 40 runs winners (DLS).
Round 1: Woodvale beat Glendermott by 5 wickets

Sharvan Raj hit 5 fours and 3 sixes in an unbeaten 48, sharing an unbroken 6th wicket stand of 66 with Cooper Donnelly (20*) to lead Woodvake to a 5-wicket win over Glendermott. The Waterside side had Woodvale in trouble as Todd Killen claimed a five-wicket haul to reduce them to 66 for 5, but Raj and Donnelly ensured Woodvale progressed. Earlier, Lewis Pearson thumped 42 and Killen 24 in Glendermott's 131 - three wickets apiece for Demmis Thanivelil and Jonathan Burnside, while Cooper Donnelly claimed two for 30.
