Half centuries for Jared Wilson, Scott Macbeth and Andy Balbirnie powered the Warriors to 334 for 9. They needed them all as Munster nearly pulled off an unlikely chase. Suliman Safi's brilliant 131 seeing them fall just two runs short.

Defending champions Leinster Lightning are back at the top of the table and will lift the crown again next week if they beat bottom of the table NW Warriors. Matt Hollard took five wickets, while Cade Carmichael's brilliant summer continued as he made 105 in a Knights total of 223. Tim Tector's half century plus runs from Chris De Freitas (38), and David Delany (43*) ensured a bonus point six-wicket win in the 35th over, despite Matthew Humphreys three wickets.
