It was a case of so near yet so far for Leinster, who challenged for the Premiership all the way before falling at the final hurdle to Pembroke, and also being beaten in the T20 final by just five runs against Phoenix.
They had by and large a settled squad with the batting unit having quality and depth, while the bowling unit was a varied and consistent one that most line-ups struggled to master.
They were hampered by the loss of Gareth Delany to injury for a good chunk of the campaign, and that could well have been the difference between another trophy at Rathmines and an empty cabinet.
Monil Patel led the way scoring 832 runs at 41.60, just ahead of Younas Ahmadzai who made 779 runs at 45.82, with the pair making a combined 11 fities and two hundreds.
There was a big gap then to overseas player Ben Mitchell who made 467 at 22.24, while Joey Carroll hit 381 at 31.75.
Tom Johnson and Saqib Bahadhur chipped in with 356 at 20.94 and 322 at 24.77 (including a century) respectively. Others who had their moments were Gareth Delany (183 runs), Mark Tonge (174 runs) and Bilal Azhar (130 runs).
While his batting average may have been a tad underwhelming as a result of his attacking attitude, Ben Mitchell did top the bowling with a haul of 36 wickets at 16.69.
Mitchell was one of five bowlers to take in excess of 20 wickets, ahead of Jai Moondra - 33 at 20.30 - and Saqib Bahdhur - 31 at 14.23.
Bilal Azhar - 27 at 19.30 - and Joey Carroll - 23 at 19.22 - completed the quintet, while Mark Tonge weighed in with 17 wickets at 34.82.
There's no doubt that Leinster will once again be in the silverware hunt in 2026 if they can retain the bulk of their squad over the winter, and perhaps add one or two more quality performers to their ranks.
