It was an excellent season for Coleraine, who at one stage were in with an outside chance for the Premiership, ending in third place.
They reached the semi-finals of the Senior Cup losing out to Newbuildings, and were beaten in the final of the Eric Cooke Cup by Fox Lodge in a cracking contest.
The Bannsiders had strength in depth, perhaps best emphasised by the fact that no fewer than FIVE different players scored a senior century - pretty unique in local cricket and indeed further afield in Irish cricket circles.
Rory Knox proved a wise choice as captain, leading the side well as they gelled. They had a nice mix of youth and experience and for the most part a largely settled team despite some availability issues.
Louren Steenkamp was an excellent overseas professional as he topped their run charts with 798 runs at 42, ahead of the vastly experienced David Cooke who had something of an Indian summer making 709 at 54.54 - both making five fifties and a century.
Patrick Carson -had something of a breakthrough season as he scored 604 runs at 27.45 (1 hundred, 1 fifty), while Craig Averill hit 548 runs at 26.09 (6 fifties).
Scott Campbell missed almost half the season but did make 418 runs at 46.44 (3 fifties, 1 hundred), while Marcus Poskitt was the fifth centurion as he made 215 at 53.75 in just four appearances.
The Coleraine bowling unit was a settled and consistent one with four bowlers passing the 20-wickets mark, and two others coming close to it.
Stephen Hutchinson and Gareth Burns both claimed 28 wickets apiece at 19.71 and 21.04 respectively, while Rory Knox and Matthew Hutchinson took 25 scalps apiece at 15.80 and 17.92.
Craig Averill managed 19 wickets at 19.05, while Scott Campbell took 17 at 17.76, and Louren Steenkamp 12 at 26.08.
With a thriving Women's and youth section, there are solid foundations for Coleraine to build upon and plenty of cause for optimism for the future.
