Donemana were again amongst the trophies as they lifted the Senior Cup, but they didn't make it a double losing out to Brigade in the title run-in.

They struck gold with their choice of overseas professional as Anuj Jotin proved a huge success on and off the field.

Donemana also restored NW pride in the Irish Senior Cup with headline grabbing wins at Waringstown and Merrion along the way, after a horror run in the competition for local sides as the difference in quality between the other Unions was brutally exposed in crushing defeats.

Gary McClintock enjoyed his best season in many years as he led them to cup glory, and he and Raymond Curry will benefit from their off-season in Australia.

Back to the averages and Anuj Jotin led the way with 949 runs at 49.95, including 11 half centuries. Gary McClintock's 807 runs came at 47.47 (4 fifties, 1 hundred), while Raymond Curry made 679 runs at 37.72 (3 fifties, 1 hundred).

Andy McBrine scored 523 runs at 47.54, while Willie McClintock hit 498 at 33.20. Jamie Huey also passed the 400 runs mark with 406 at 25.38, while others worthy of mention are David O'Sullivan - 324 at at 24.92 and DJ Dougherty, whose 286 runs came at 16.82.

Andy topped the bowling charts with 40 wickets at just over 15, forming a potent double act with Jotin, whose 39 wickets were at 20.77.

Gary McClintock weighed in with 25 wickets at 28.36, while Levi Dougherty and David O'Sullivan each took 23 apiece.

It will be an interesting winter at The Holm who face a battle to bring back Jotin, while there are also rumours about whether David O'Sullivan will be there. Given Ireland's supposedly busy 2026 schedule, there may not be too many appearances in domestic cricket for Andy McBrine either.

Still, Donemana would have been happy given the choice of the cup or the league, and there's no doubt no matter what the personnel they will be there or therabouts when the trophies are being dustributed in 2026.
