Harry Zimmermann has confirmed he's leaving Ardmore to play in the NCU.
The 24-year-old was at the Bleachgreen side for four seasons, helping them win the Premiership for the first and only time in their history in 2023.
Zimmermann skippered Ardmore this season, and while he enjoyed personal success scoring 772 runs at 42.89 and taking 26 wickets, the club lost their relegation play-off meaning Championship cricket in 2026.
"Saturday was my final game for Ardmore and I will be playing in the NCU next season," said the Warriors all-rounder,
"Thank you to you all for taking a chance on me four seasons ago and accepting me into the club as one of your own.
"Ardmore has been a home away from home and everyone has played a role in my cricketing journey, as well as my adult life.
"That glorious day in 2023 was one of the best days of my life and I’ll be looking forward to watching you boys bring the club back to where it belongs in the Premiership next season."
The Australian-born all-rounder currently works in Belfast and is believed to be in negotiations with North Down about a move to Comber.
