Jared Wilson is returning to Newbuildings after three seasons in the NCU with Cliftonville Academy.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed success at the Foyleview Arena, skippering them to their first Premiership title in 2022, as well as winning the Faughan Valley Cup.
The Warriors all-rounder also played at Ardmore for three years having arrived in Ireland from his native South Africa.
"Firstly, I’d like to thank Matthew McCord and everyone at Cliftonville Academy CC for giving me the opportunity to play for the club over the past three years," Wilson told CricketEurope.
"I’ve had an incredible time, made lifelong friends, and will always look back fondly on my experiences there.
"Now it’s on to a new chapter — returning to my old club, Newbuildings. Thankfully, no more long drives up that bloody road!
"Jokes aside, I’m excited to get back involved with a club where I’ve enjoyed plenty of success in the past as well as be closer to the family. I have always wanted my kids to grow up next to the field watching me play and playing for Newbuildings makes that a bit easier.
"I’m also looking forward to winter training kicking off in January and getting involved again with youth coaching — Newbuildings consistently produces some of the best young players in the North West."
